I've been into photography forever,,,,,,,,film and digital.
Well anyway, just got a new compact camera,,,,,,,The Canon Elph 330. After research, and destroying my iphone 4, I chose this one as the likely candidate as a shirtpocket camera. I haven't used it much yet, but it's certainly small and packed with alot of features for a small less expensive camera. Only 12+ megapixels, but that is plenty for it's intended use with me. Picked it up at B&H photo (internet sale) in Manhattan.
What is everyone using for digital cameras. My SLR is a Canon EOS 40D,,,,,and although it's a bit older, it's served it purpose and CONTINUES to serve it's purpose very very well. My iphone was a perfect photo/compact camera,,,,,,,after destroying it, my cheaper Samsung phone has an absolutely lousy camera as far as quality goes.
