pe zen, I know what your saying but consider this. We go to Mecca and preach Christanity. Jesus, we would be hung up by our balls and hacked to death! The EU and in particular the UK need to stop this tide of immigrants coming in. Not because im racist, i just want my home nation to keep its cultural identity and traditions.

I have no problem with muslims individually, but as a mass, they are dangerous. sorry to say.

Obviously you have never been to Texas Pe_Zen. And calling me a disgrace to my home? that is a Joke at least i have some pride for my state which obviously the muslims who lived around me didnt they destroyed their neighborhood and flew a muslim flag in their front yard until they were ordered to take it down. Also most muslims may be peaceful but they are not peaceful all of the time. I am not ignorant of the beliefs of islam and what they stand for and my rant was nothing compaired to what a muslim would say about my people. I love my country and my heritage and i refuse to let it slip away from me just as it has with places like the UK

John Smith the USA should look at Europe and forsee what is going to happen to them. Because the same will happen if nothing is done about it. Many consider London to now be a NON-BRITISH city.

Here in California we have a large problem with illegal Mexicans, but at least they are Christians and I'll bet if push comes to shove, they would stand beside us. There are good people of all races, creeds and religions in this world, it's too bad that only the ass holes get all the press.

While I basically agree with JohnSmith in principle, I am also slowly learning to understand that you can never win a fight (or war) against a group of people who are willing to kill themselves to kill other people just because there is a conflict in religious beliefs. Other than a complete eradication of the race (because it's downright impossible to tell which are which), what in the unHoly fuck can we do?

This religious war is head-deep in a pool of blood and I see no end in sight. It's disturbing, depressing, and extremely angering.

That is because of the catholic church which isnt even fully based on the bible incorporates the apocritha into their holy doctrine which are scrolls that were written between 50-500 years after jesus died and in no way are first hand accounts. Compiled with the popes of europe being the most powerful men in the world during the middle ages ultimatly lead them to become power hungry and corrupt. These popes were so faithful that they were gods messanger on that they actually thought that they had the power to send someone to hell if they tried to contridict the catholic churchs teachings or offended it in some way. The church has had many corrupt leaders and flaws in the past and that is exactly why there is an entire different side of christanity called Protestants they reject the catholic beliefs in the apocritha and only uphold the texts that were either considered holy before jesus came or were first hand accounts from the apostoles.
Anyway what this all means is that the catholics who are almost a different religion all together are responside for many of these massacres and they even massacred fellow christians because of power corrupted popes.

I think we need to refocus this post back to what it's all about. This specific discussion is not about religion per se, but about a very serious societal malady that has been spreading exponentially in the last couple of decades. This ever-growing problem could pose some serious threats to socio-political stability in the western world, as a result of its inability to keep a tight leash on a group of people who's beliefs do not fit (neither are willing to fit) with those of the nations they've been invading.

The very first step wold be for political and community leaders to understand that "political correctness" and "cultural sensitivity" should not part of the equation to the solution of this problem. Once that first step is taken, then there will unlimited options on the table.

You would not believe it if you came to the UK now. It is estimated that in 50 years 'Brits' will be the minority in Britain. Once a prosperous nation, now our government are selling this country down shit creek. They'd sell their own Grandmothers for a tenner. They don't give a toss about the traditions of this country.

On St. George's day, our national holiday (equivalent to your 4th July) many places don't hold parades and celebrations any more because they might offend other cultures. Some Catholic schools no longer hold a nativity play at Christmas, incase they offend other religions. The nursery rhyme 'Baa Baa Black sheep' has been changed to 'Baa Baa Rainbow sheep' so it doesn't offend black people.

I can go on and on. This country is going down the shitpan and if it continues I might come and join my American cousins across the pond Of course if I do I won't claim that the 4th of July or thanksgiving offends me like the immigrants do about our traditions.

I agree W.M.P. One of the first things to go when the ACLU/Liberals, started this "political correctness" and "cultural sensitivity", were the "Polish" jokes. How dare you demean the Polish people.
O.K. so we stopped all ethnic jokes. Then with no one to pick on, we all started making jokes about fat people, which is now, becoming another no no. (Because, bless their hearts, they can't help that they are fat)

Well then the jokes turned to smokers, Which, because of the eradication of smoking in our political, "losses of freedoms country," is fine. Nobody in the ACLU is standing up for the civil rights of the people that choose to continue to smoke.
But these same people continue to attack Christ, i.e. Christmas, prayer, and the word God. So in the keeping with political correctness, ya'll have a happy "Turkey Day" and a wonderful "Holiday Season."

I believe that the situation in Europe has a lot to do with the fact that Europe has been more of a Socialist Democracy, whereas America has not been like that. Some people fear that America is heading in that direction, but after several talks with a French co-worker, he has pointed out something that rings quite clearly to me: Europe has been like this (a Socialist Democracy) for a long, long time and to think that the USA could simply make a turn and become a Socialist Democracy after a lifetime of being a Capitalist Democracy is just not a realistic expectation.

Also, here in NY (the so-called Melting Pot of the World), the younger generation of immigrants get fairly Americanized quite quickly, so there's basically no chance of having the situation Europe has with the ever-growing Muslim ghettos, which are a breeding ground for the kind of discontent and fanatical delusions that give birth to radicalism. I've seen the opposite pattern A LOT here in NY: Children of Middle Eastern parents get swallowed up in the hustle & bustle of NY, usually getting on the "higher education train", they become doctors, engineers, scientists or (more and more recently) thriving business people and their Muslim background becomes a quite insignificant speck in their lives, especially when many of the women tend to marry outside their ethnic group cause they're not willing to sign up for the life of subservience that they saw their mothers lead.
