With all this talk about "traction" wrapping I decided to buy some.
A tiny bit of history: I did try in the past to use that "TENNIS RACKET" stuff that they sell in Walmart for racket handles,,,,,it didn't fit and/or I had a bitch of a time trying to get it on my stump. So that didn't work for me.
Well, I'm trying out a new item: "The NSD or New Size Device" which in simplistic terms is a "bad ass" clamping mechanism. I tried it and I used a sock and then a baby wipe as a wrap cloth, and they really did NOT work. In fact I got pinched and didn't like the feeling!!!
Anyway, my Gal and I went to Publix this afternoon with a coupon for Ace Bandage, and I got the Self Adhering 3" elastic Bandage which I'm gonna give a try maybe tomorrow or this weekend. I'm not going to open it yet,,,,but my question is: Has anyone tried this item yet and is it good? No good?
About the NSD,,,,,this item, which I will be testing and have a log, is pretty kick-ass in my opinion. It's made specifically for clamping on your shaft (I'm excited,,,,I love clamping) and it's at least the thickness of 2 cablecuffs in thickness,,,,,that means it squeezes more shaft. Keep an eye out for my post,,,,as soon as I can get wrapped I will start using it regularly.
