Just been having it out with the Mrs for 2 hours straight no finish for me....and couldn't cum this morning either from the "quickie" either ....Could be the cider ....more likely the new anti depressants.....anyone else have this problem from prescribed drugs.?

I prefer the days when I came within 5 mins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was about 8/10 E.Q too.....

(I drink allot so prob not the cider)

SSRI? Those will do it to you. You have to give em a chance and then go to your doctor for something else. I had this problem with Prozac a while back and had to be switched over to a mood stabilizer with intermittent Wellbutrin/caffeine to keep me just over the zombie level.

and if SSRI didn't do it the combination of the with alcohol could be the culprit. Talk to your generalist.

The lovely wife let me have another go this morning, despite being a little sore from trying to make me orgasm last night....no luck again...

New anti-depressants? Seems almost certain to be an SSRI. What's the med? If it is an SSRI then that is the cause for sure.

They're called Citalopram, they are SSRIs according to the paperwork that come with them.

I say new, but really this is the 1st time I've ever taken antidepressants, I'm 8 tablets into a 14 pack....They seem to be working so I think.

I was self prescribing cannabis for years to try and help me deal with what happened to me in 2007....it definitely left me with mental problems....been off the ganja for 9 months now....took 8 months to see a doctor!!!


If your wondering what happened in 2007...I was ripped off by a contractor for £12k of kitchens and it cost me £4k in wages for my staff (I sell and fit kitchens)......I lost everything..house, girlfriend, business.....and every penny I had left suing an invisible person !!

I'm on 10mg, what strength did you take?

The only symptom I'm having from these tabs is ejaculation problems.....I didn't bother to read the possible side effects....cause I know if I read them I wouldn't of taken them...haha

Oh I have no idea, it's been like forever since I've been on anything. It's actually been over a year now. When I do go back on meds I have to take half the dose and cycle up slowly because I have no tolerance for anything whatsoever. Even caffeine and booze hits me extra hard.

I'm the opposite, caffeine does literally nothing to me, I can have a strong coffee before bed and sleep like a baby within minutes of putting my head on the pillow.....Takes me about 7 pints of strong cider to get truly pissed too...although I don't do that very often.

Did your cycle of meds help? if so how have they effected you since?...mood wise ect

Well, I haven't been on anything in a little over a year. But before that I was on Lamotrigine (Lamictal) and Bupropion (Wellbutrin). Those two seemed to help keep me just over the slump of depression and normal, but I stopped taking my meds after the psychiatrist at the VA did little more than keep giving me Lamictal and nothing else.

I need a little something speedy to keep me active and normal, so I switched to either daily high doses of caffeine or ECA. That's Ephedrine, Caffeine, and Aspirin if you're not familiar with it. The only thing about that is you gotta keep calcium, vitamins A & D, vitamin K, and a few other trace minerals high or the effects of stress and stimulants will accelerate cavities.

Hope your all better now?...I have no experience at all with meds I pretty much avoid going to the doctors and hope issues fix themselves !! lol ...

By cavities you mean tooth cavities ? ....never had one yet, think my teeth must be made from granite !!

Oh, you must be one of those guys with the strain of super spit that prevents them from ever getting a cavity. I need to make out with you or something. Have you spit in my mouth, because members of my family are super susceptible to tooth decay.

I'm bipolar type III and I do ok without medicine, but that's only because I did a lot of work on stress and anger management before now and practically nothing gets to me. I don't blow up like I used to and I don't fall into a deep depression anymore, but I have to keep my emotional excitement under control or else I'm totally drained the next few days.

My sister has bipolar...Maybe I have it too but deal with it better...must say since taking the meds I feel very calm...its great.

How did you help yourself with stress...any tips ?..in case mine comes back!

I don't ever seem to suffer with emotional excitement so I can pretty much rule bipolar out I suppose.

Yeah, I just uh.... Well, I popped from all the stress I was under about a year ago with the ex wife and the divorce. So ever since then I stopped worrying about stupid shit. I also did a lot of work with stress management and finding outlets for that anxiety and anger. I still have trouble with crowds and loud noises making me anxious, but I can deal with it a lot better now.

The thing that probably helped me the most was working out and burning through a lot of that excess energy, intermittent fasting for depression, and then (I know this sounds gay but) getting in touch with your feelings and allowing yourself to feel however you want and not punishing yourself for being unhappy. For me just allowing myself to be unhappy for a little while has been the most freeing and that feeling passes a lot quicker when I say to myself "Damn right I'm fucking depressed, and I be as unhappy as I want to be". It usually passes in a few hours anyways what with the bipolar type III multiple cycles every few hours.
