  • Study nbpel vs bpel.

Here are 3 studies, I thought a conparison would be of interest .

Study Mean Standard Deviation Largest 10%
Schneider et al. 2001 5.7 inches
    14.5cm
    0.79 inches
    2.0cm
    > 6.7 inches
    17.0cm
    Ansell 2001 5.88 inches
    14.9cm
    0.83 inches
    2.1cm
    > 6.9 inches
    17.6cm
Wessells et al. 1996 5.07 inches
    12.9cm
    1.15 inches
    2.9cm
    > 6.5 inches
    16.6cm

The Wessels study is a little unusual in that it seems to be nbpel. Note the greater varation/standdard deviation which I take it is caused by difficulty geting accuracy with nbpel measures and also the smaller length. The difference is .7in roughly which indicates a typicall fat pad.

looks like the minimum average is increasing, all these are from over a decade ago, maybe this year the average is 7 nbpel x 5.25 eg.

Huh there is no evidence of any size increase in the last 1000 years .
The earliest study I know of shows a longer bpel, 6,1 in bpel from memory, but as it was self measured it is thought this accounts for the difference . In any case this would mean penises are shrinking in the last few decades if anything.

The difference between the Wessels study and the others is the difference between nbpel and bpel.

                  Welcome .
I thought this might be of interest, because it shows the difference between nbpel and bpel studies .
Nbpel studies are rare ,gain note the shorter el and greater varability.

The Wessels study was conducted among guys who had perceived their penises small and were applying to have their dicks surgically increased. Accordingly, the average size of their dicks came out shorter than studies conducted among the general population.

                      Actually NO.
If you read ,you will see it was conducated to provide noramitive data, that is data on what is normal.
The subjects were a normal group.

I thought that the second study Ansell (2001) was also non bone pressed because in the literature it said that length was measured from the penile-pubo skin junction which in my opinion indicate a non bone pressed length.

There is some argument aboout that, but if you compare to an actual nbpel study you will see the difference .
The Wessels study has greater variability and notably shorter length.
