Browser problems ...

I'm on Firefox right now .. It works fine, I can browse the Internet easily .. Except: I can't go on youtube or I get this message "A script is still playing, should we stop the script?" Or something in that order .. I always get it and no matter what option I choose: stop the script or ignore .. It keeps coming back and it slows my laptop down dramatically ...

Anyone ever experienced this before? Can you fix this?

Start firefox in safemode (plugins disabled) and recheck. (you won't be able to view the video though)

Have you updated FireFox? I'm on version 29.0.1 with zero problems.

I recently updated it because I thought this would be the problem ..

It seems that everytime I go on youtube (that's the only site that doesn't work as supposed too actually) my laptop has trouble with loading the "thumbnails" or how is it called .. The little images you see for every video ..

Just installed adblock and it didn't help :s

It takes time for my browser to load the thumbnails and eventually firefox shoots a message like "unresponsive" etc.. OR It talks about the script.

My next step would be uninstall FireFox for a fresh re-install.

I was going to ask you to disable or upgrade it as it is a cause of trouble sometimes.

Try to restart firefox in safe mode and see if you will still get the script error, also it would be helpful to post a list of plugins/extensions you have installed.

I'm using Firefox and have no problems opening youtbe.

Try to update it if you haven't like suggested before.
