Oh dear lord, I just saw a commercial of a new tv-show in -ofcourse- America .. It's called the sex factor. Basically 8 girls and 8 guys compete to become a new pornstar and win 1 million dollar in price money ..

Are you kidding me? I mean, I would watch it but shit this is typically America I just have no words for this ..

Is this show going to be played on national television??? That's not possible I hope?

For some reason shows like The Jersey Shore, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, and others like them are the norm here in America. And people wonder what has happened to our youth.

I really hope you can only see this show on payed streaming site or something like that! Indeed, if its played at night on a national television channel you'll get a fucked up youth ... Probably a lot of spin-offs are coming to Europe too ..

Ofcourse this is an actual thing! I wouldn't lie ..

+ thoughts? I think this show crosses the line .. I mean yeah you have geordie and jersey shore filled with people whose only objective in life is sex .. But this? Seeing if someone fits to be a pornstar and that big cash prize attached to it?

I feel jealousy towards the male winner of this show .. He'll get a fat cash prize, a career in porn (oh c'mon everybody thought about it once) and probably lots and lots of sex from fans/groupies ..

On the other hand I think: my god, what about parents, ethics, etc ...

That's why I was like "only in America" not saying every American is like this but you guys definetly set the tone in the entertainment business.

Still curious to watch the show though.. (so they do succeed the makers of this show )

That show has definitely made me more aware of the injuries that can happen during sex. No more fantasy of doing it in a tree, I'll tell ya that much!!

You guys are pointing out some of the reasons I don't have cable TV. I have small kids and the crap that's on TV is just to much. I have pretty tight control over TV for now and the internet in my house. Honestly that can only last so long until the kids figure out how to out smart me, I'm just want them to get older before seeing the weirdo's. LOL.

BTW I do get the national channels and Netflix. I don't live in a cave. LOL.
