First of all, why isn't there a thread about Beards?! ..If no one is gonna do it, i will.

How do you keep it? Do you feel more comfortable and confident with or without a beard? and Does it make you more SEXY and MANLY when infront of a mirror? .. oh man there's so much to ask.

Not only i want to know how "low" your beards "hang". but also, do women prefer a well groomed manly beard over a shaved face? Generally, what do women think about beards?

So many questions right?

It definitely makes me look older by a few years as a young guy. A couple of times at restaurants I have been asked if I would like an alcoholic drink because the waiter/waitress thinks I am over 21 but I am not. I am 19. I think I look good with a beard and I will continue to keep my beard groomed, but if there is an interview there is a good chance I'll shave it off. I don't mind it because I grow facial hair pretty fast.

I keep it short but sometimes I let it grow but I keep it nice. Then when I shave it off I look younger but I don't like the look, like it better with stubble.

You know, I can't believe there wasn't a thread about this either, God bless you Jungler! We can't have a male enhancement site without mentioning beards, we may as well all start carrying handbags for our make-up, balance is restored to the universe.

I like leaving a bit of grizzle around my chin, not only because I'm lazy, but because it also let's the world know I won't bow down to there ideals of a guy with a baby soft face and that I mean business! During winter a beard provides excellent thermal insulation properties, you see anyone who lives in the Arctic they will have a beard!

I was actually thinking of starting a website called Facefullofbeard.com, documenting some of the most impressive beards from around the world.

To answer your questions I do not groom my beard, I let it grow wild and free! It's not a giant beard I posses, but it's a beard nonetheless! And yes I feel more manly with a bit of facial hair and the Mrs doesn't like me clean shaven either, oh yeah!.

I have just learned to my horror we have no bearded smileys.

I can't grow a thick beard; it grows in scraggly and looks ugly. Accordingly, I keep it clean.

I always rock a 'strip' beard, ala Robert Downey in Ironman. lol. Full on mountain man scruff though, can't hang with that type of burliness.
