I don't know if this has been brought up or not and I'm wondering...

We all know this is a very profitable business for both the producers and the performers as well as other parties. So the principle is very simple, supply and demand. Businesses always develop easier when there is high demand and in this case, it has become a industry.
Now, I know you aren't a founder of this industry, but you certainly are in a very close relation. So my question sounds like this:

What benefit does it bring upon the end consumer? I'm referring in an idealistic (purpose) kind of way, other than the visual- pleasing factor resulting in jerking off.

Sorry Tastyfellow, I disagree. The performers are making a living, but to say they are making huge money is not my perception. I should probably join FAG, Film Actors Guild. The people who sell porn seem to make a lot of money, but the performers are not making a huge amount of money. In my opinion of course.

I think I said I saw the humor and even laughed in the very post you quoted!?!? but my point is it's just rude to keep going with it...oh and telling someone who is offended to lighten up is Inherently aggravating.

The longer you poke fun on a specific trait, the more irritated the subject of your jests will become. Doing so will turn anything humorous into something not so humorous without fail, in my opinion this is common sense.

I didn't tear anyone a new asshole I just requested that a common courtesy be shown.

If your expecting me to say "Oops I'm sorry I'll just let you belittle my industry since you told me to lighten up" which includes not only myself but the one person I care most about in this world, you've highly underestimated me.

Let me help put a little perspective here:

I just watched a show depicting a guy who decided to enter an extremely difficult career. This career required him to take a life to save one or more lives. Despite the brutal toll it took on his psyche he continued because he knew he was saving the lives of his friends. Despite successfully completing four deployments (more than 1000 days in the desert) his life felt incomplete; he wished he could have saved more of the lives of his fellow servicemen and women. To fill that void he volunteered to support and mentor troops who suffered from PTSD. He was killed by someone he was trying to help.

In contrast, neither your career nor mine have an impact such as this one. This guy directly affected thousands of lives for the good. It was a life and career of substance, meaning, and significance.

Your "job" is to have sex. Sure by making it a job it has become less pleasurable, but honestly what the hell do you have to complain about? You work part time for a 6-digit income. You have sex with women a lot of guys would give their left nut to meet. Either of these are a dream come true for many people. You have an exceptionally easy life right now. If you can't withstand a little light-hearted joke about the industry that makes all of this possible for you, you need to grow some thicker skin or grow the fuck up.

I didn't ask you to say "Oops I'm sorry," I basically asked you to pull the stick out of your ass and relax. Regardless of anything anyone says on this site you're still going to get paid to bang another couple girls this week.

I'm tired of seeing that video to be honest, I think twice for the laugh was plenty...next person to quote tweet it can kindly leave, I can't help but find it distasteful at this point.

I don't want to say "relax" but I do want to point out that the video is only showing subsequent times because the initial post is being quoted with the "reply with quote" function. It's sometimes hard to post a response without including a quote from message you're responding to because it would make no sense. So its not more people posting the video because they think it would be funny to, it's just people replying to that particular post and the video is automatically included in the reply. I mean really, AlpineNewt's comment would have been pretty confusing without something to reference to, especially when there are several pages between that post and the response to it.

So not really saying "relax", just pointing out what's happening.

Is this a world-wide drawing? What happens if the winner is from a distant country? Who pays for the travel (even 2500 miles from one coast to the other and lodging can be costly)? What is the timeline between winning and shoot?

I understand that and I realize you are not telling me to relax but Im just pointing out that it is inherently offensive to have that video plastered all over this thread and as such should not be quoted. If it must I think "the family guy video" would be more than sufficent although I don't really see a need for the topic to be discussed further.
