I would say yes but the cliche answer I'm going to give you is that your "skill" is highly dependent on your confidence and passion.
These two things are equally and greatly important.
In my opinion If there is one thing that makes good sex it is strong eye contact and body proximity. Even if she looks away (which she probably won't) keep making eye contact through out. It displays confidence and passion.
Body proximity is the difference between missionary with your hands as support and your head pulled up or your elbows as support and placing her head over your shoulder or your forehead on hers.
This makes all the difference in my opinion..visually for porn and mentally in the bedroom. Again always move with passion and conviction.
But I'm not claiming to be an expert this is just my advice.Start: 06/21/14

Very interesting thread Jake, thank you for this and I'll be monitoring it closely.
What did you mean by "It truly is much less than what is presented."?
Thanks again
EDIT: You say porn is misleading... for the viewer I presume. But do you enjoy your job? Do you see it as "work" (like I see sales as work - I like the buzz of it, but I'd prefer not to be doing it all the time haha)Last edited by gingernuts; 01-13-2015, 03:49 AM.

Hi Jake,
Thanks for doing this Q&A.
While you're making a film, is the sex still intimate and passionate?
In your experience, how many "takes" does it take to portray a sex scene?Progress log: https://www.pegym.com/forums/progres...gians-log.html

I enjoy some aspects of my job but it takes a mental toll as far as decreased arousal from over exposure (like watching too much porn except worse) I wouldn't reccomend doing it for this reason alone. But when I get a girl I connect with my job is great. These are few and far between though.Start: 06/21/14

As for intimacy and passion I think that depends on the performer but for me it is mainly faked...keep in mind I've been in a strong relationship for 4 years so I don't easily connect with other women.Start: 06/21/14

hey Jake,
thanks for doing this, it is great being able to talk to someone in 'the biz'
you said in your other thread about the size requirements in porn, and that bigger is preferred, my question: do the women actually enjoy/prefer the bigger dicks more than the less-bigger dicks? do any of them say about it hurting or do they love the big dicks?
cheers mate!

Hey Jake, welcome aboard, glad to have you here. I am sure everyone has questions that they would love to hear from a first-hand in the porn industry, so hopefully this thread is helpful to the members here
I have a few questions actually!
- Do you watch porn yourself erotically or do you now over-analyse it ("ah no, I would have doggied next" )?
- Do male performers do kegels etc? If not, how common is it to pre-ejaculate during scenes? Especially with girls that you would be more turned on by?
- Are you afraid of catching STDs; and how confident are you going into a shoot that the relevant precautions have been taken to ensure your sexual safety?

Saw the now closed thread with details on size. I'd actually say what you said seems fairly accurate, in that most 'big dick' porn starts around the 7x5.25 mark, as many don't seem all that big when you actually look at it analytically.
That said, considering 8x6 is considered the holy grail around most PE forums, how many guys would you say actually have that size, and do the actresses ever comment afterwards? (as in, I've seen interviews were many can take huge penises like a champ, but off cam they say they actually like a smaller than big/huge size due to pain or discomfort).Original/Current Stats:
2014-09-01: BPEL 6.8"/NBPEL 6" MEG 5.0", BPFL 5"/NBPFL 4" FG 4.4"
2019-03-16: BPEL 8"/NBPEL 6.75" MEG 5.2", BPFL 6.75"/NBPFL 5.5" FG 4.5"

Realistic: BPEL 8.5"/NBPEL 7.5" MEG 5.5"
Optimistic: BPEL 9"/NBPEL 8" MEG 5.75"
Dream: BPEL 10"/NBPEL 9" MEG 6.5"
