below are two different stories about the same incident that happened involving campus rape

The first one you have to scroll down a little to find it is the dad's perspective on what happened in defense of the "rapist" and the second is from the "victim's" perspective and talks also about how campuses dont protect women enough...

Basically this girl got drunk at a party and fucked a wrestler and then a week later reported that he raped her...no drugs found in her system even tho she claimed she was roofied...anyway this guy basically got kicked off the wrestling team on not much more then he said she said stuff...what is everyones thoughts??

im sorry i'm new here i thought i posted it in the forum that was described as "Non-penis enlargement discussion. Anything and everything else goes."

my mistake why dont you please move it there for me....also this is obviously an important topic as it will effect many men on here since 1 in 5 women are raped i guess 1 in 5 men are rapists

Nah whatever forum it's in it will most likely make for a good argument and I really don't like arguing. I'll keep an eye out but I bet you I will end up closing it down and getting really pissed at someone.

A lot of men and women get raped. People that make false accusations are a huge disservice to real victims of rape.

This isn't uncommon, there was a woman who went back to a hotel room with a group of rugby players and had sex with 3 of them, if i remember right. She was drunk, but not so much as to impair her to the point she claimed ( several witnesses, bus boys, managers etc. said she seemed a little tipsy at most, this was after she had left the hotel room ).
One of the players who didn't "participate" filmed it, stupid, and this wasn't acceptable, but she willingly had sex with them so the filming should have been her only issue. But no she claimed they kept filling her with drinks, pressured her to come back to the room and after more drinks and intimidation basically had her against her will, bullshit, but it happens.

well in this case...i know it is a long read...the girl was throwing up and i dont think that is disputed by either of them and then she somehow made her way into the wrestlers bed...we probably all can agree that he shouldn't have had sex with her at least morally speaking hell i wouldn't have for sure...it is cutting it close in terms of the girl being too fucked up to consent

but also this girl tried to make it seem like the wrestler was a pushy and forceful kind of guy but in reality this girl accepted an invitation to a keg party at 2 am and was drinking alcohol with a guy who she knew wanted her and who she went to breakfast with earlier in the week so its like...if she was kissing him or something when she was blacked out he has no way of knowing and probably just took those signs plus her affection as proof she wanted him...

I think we need to get back to the frame of the default assumption is "No" and that remains in place until she says "Yes" and, even then, it reverts to "No" whenever there is any doubt or reason to doubt.

Hmm I have no problem with courts sorting out issues like this ,it is their function.

It is rape if the man or woman says NO or is too fucked up to say yes or no.
There are people who say they are raped but they were not. But......
There are so many others who have been raped who never tell but their lives are messed up forever.
We all need to be careful of hurting one and other, This is just basic.
If in doubt the word is NO. Stop yourself.
