It's subjective. Like having a study on alcohol or cannabis saying it doesn't make a person feel "x" or "y". Everyone is different, reacts differently to certain things, approaches them differently, is psychologically / physically affected by them differently.

There are plenty of studies and experiences showing the opposite. I know firsthand what pornography does to my view of women. I hate articles like these. How are they even quantifying these findings? This study isn't exactly very extensive and seems loaded with opinions and not actual analysis.

And like noob said, it's subjective. These things affect people in different ways ... some more severe than others.

I can imagine some sexual crimes have decreased because of the readily availability of porn...but, then again, I can also understand that it may be a precursor for others to commit sexual crimes.

Yes it could be the cause to other problems towards women because of todays type of porn. In the old days, porn was a "normal" average sex on camera. It was good because it distracted a lot of people from committing real crimes like rape. However, todays porn is abusive and degrading towards women and that can create different social problems that we didnt have before.

One thing is for sure, porn does cause indeed sexual problems to the viewer. It desensitize the brain from reality, it trains your brain to satisfy only with porn. Eventually the addiction leaves the person unable to get aroused with a real woman or unable to feel pleasure from any sexual stimulation without porn.

A lot of the complaints I hear from women towards guys that suck in bed is that they think that just throwing the girl around and ramming her in different positions until he cums satisfies her as well. I would think the guy gets that idea from porn.

Having no partner I watch a fair deal of porn when I need to get off. That said, I don't feel to affects me in any way regarding how I feel about women.

If anything, any negativity I have is from being played in the past, or listening to some I know try to get by on looks alone, or put up with being mistreated because "He's just too hot to leave".

I watch porn two or three times a night and also do some erotic roleplaying at the same time. I figure it has become a habit more than an addiction.

Negative thoughts on women usually come from some past experience(s) with them than watching porn.

I don't think porn "creates" a problem in an adult's mind. It may exacerbate feelings that are already existent in an individual, but I don't think a "normal" well-adjusted adult who watches porn is going to turn into a woman hating beast. However, if a guy already has those thoughts in his head, then chooses to watch some of the more violent porn, he may see his feelings being validated. I do think that porn has a very negative impact on a child/teenagers mind if they view it. Maybe not in the sense that they will grow to hate or dislike women, but it may have a greater impact on their developing mind in regards to their views on sex and relationships.

The brain does not actually discriminate between watching things on a screen and doing them in real life. Either way they become part of our make up. You are changed to some degree by all your experiences.
