Hey everyone,
I've had some real fear about intimacy in the last couple of months, and a large part of it is because of my penis size. This probably sounds really stupid, and I don't mean to offend any men of color on here, I have become conscious ever since I started dating my most recent girlfriend. She's African-American, and she hasn't been with that many guys, but I can't get this feeling of inadequacy out of my head. With all the porn I've watched over the years, the idea has been drilled into me that I've got the average white guy dick, and it's a crazy irrational fear, but I worry she wouldn't want to stay with me because of it. I know that she likes me a lot for my mind, way I make her laugh, our conversations, etc. We just haven't had sex yet, and a part of me has been post-poning it until I can at least strengthen my erections to rock my full length. The inadequacy has always been there though--in the locker room in during football in high school and college, listening to girls talk about other guys I knew and how big their dick was. It messed with me a lot.
Porn played a big part in it, so I stopped watching it while ago but because of that I sort of stopped masturbating all together, now its weird whenever I try to get an erection. My flaccid state is smaller than normal too, and when I'm with her and we are kissing with some foreplay, even then I know I'm not as hard as I could be. At this point in time, I just want to get fuller erections and get back to the way it used to be.
And I have visited this site a couple of times before, but always sort of got sketched out--I feel like most have been at one point or another. I have tried some methods through other sites before, and while I believe I might have been doing the exercises correctly, the one area I was lacking in was patience.
I've done some heavy reading through the site and after reading some awesome success stories, persistence and patience really seem to be the keys. With those in mind, I wanted to do things my own way. I've seen a lot of people on here say that each penis is different, and responds differently to workouts.
Well I'm all about efficiency, so I figured I would construct my own workout tailored to my penis based on the existing theories of penis growth on here, which I figured would maximize my success. But I don't know everything! I started looking into this back when I was 18 and a freshman in college, I'm 21 now and about to graduate. That's why I'm excited to be a part of this community and if anyone has any tips they want to share, words of encouragement, or anything like that, I'm all eyes and ears!
I'll keep a log separately for measurements, and update this on a the basis that I have thoughts to share or experiences with working out. I'm also going to put my initial stats down so I can keep track of everything from the original post. Looking forward to sharing my journey with this awesome community!
Do you guys think I should talk to her about my fears? We've liked each other for a while and would hangout as friends, and just started dating in December, so it feels early to talk about something like this. Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
