  • Attempting to get over the Plateau

    I started PE about 2.5 years ago on my 36th Birthday. it all started with some research on penis health, erection quality and lasting longer in bed. Lets just say, my wife was not getting the full benefit and was starting to dislike sex altogether. Since I am the only person I want my wife to have sex with, I had some improvement to do.

    So, I started a beginners routine and kept it going for about 4 months before changing things up a little. I noticed some gain in length and kept on going. At the 10 month mark I had gained about 3/4" in length and no girth. However, with the 10 months of Jelqing I felt heavier, hanging lower, and my EQ was up a bit. I also remember having one really nice night with my wife where she said "How did you last so long?" (It was probably only 15 minutes at the most, but it beat the 3 mins from previous times).

    This gave me the confidence to keep going, as I was getting discouraged from the lack of girth gains and my overall progress to date. I thought my gains would come on faster. Newbie mindset I suppose. I purchased a Bathmate and introduced that to my routine as well, hoping for some actual girth gains.

    I slightly increased in size for the next 8 to 10 months, but since then, I have seen no more gains. That was about a year ago now. After 1.5 years and not too much improvement, have I already hit the plateau?

    So, I've taken the last 2 weeks off and have been doing some research. I think I know what I need to do now to keep the gains and total EQ up. It's time to change up the routine (girth focused), experiment a little and increase the intensity.

    I will be posting in the Progress Forum every once in a while to keep you all informed on how my progress is going. Also, I have given myself a new deadline to reach my goals. My 40th Birthday, which is just over a year and a half from now.

    If, anyone else has had success in breaking their own personal plateau, please feel free to give me some tips.
    I am only focusing on girth at this time. and will not be purchasing any more devices. Hands only!

    Nice gains man! What is your bathmate schedule like? Duration inside the pump & how often/wk? If I could, I recommend trying few different things for girth that have worked for me:

    1. Big Al's Jelq-Free Routine, it is very effective. (this is basically erect or semi erect squeezes) https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-e...e-routine.html

    2. Are you using the pump for 15-20 mins per session?

    3. Have you tried clamping? It is also a very effective girth gainer.

    I never saw much girth gains from jelqing and I rarely do anymore. Squeezes, clamping, pumping are the way.

      I'm 4 to 5 days on then 2 to 3 days off. I will also take about 2 to 3 weeks off every 3 months.

      Routine is 15 mins of manual stretching (in all directions with tunica tugs and bundles)
      Approx 20 mins of Jelqing with squeeezes or compressions
      Then 20 mins in the Bathmate (2x 10 mins at max)

      I believe the bathmate has helped, but I think my penis has become to used to my routine. I cant remember the last time I felt the good burn after a session.

        Solid routine IMO. Maybe don't take so long a break after 3 months. Its recommended 1 week after 6 weeks.

        Try to switch out jelqing for squeezes only as per the jelq-free program. Jelqing isn't the best for girth its more a length exercise. I bet if you did that or clamping instead of jelqing you'd see some gains! Just my opinion, i'm not an expert just had some mild success with squeeze and clamping!

          Maybe you could get a stronger pump. If you only have the hyrdo it's not too powerful. And also yeah as BallsMahoney said clamping seems to be the move. I plan to try that once my penis is more conditioned.
