  • Newbie ... just arrived.

    Hi there to everyone.

I've been reading this kind of stuff for sometime. Tough this is the first time i am going to start a routine...

I think i have done some exercises but not in a consistent workout but, without all the knowledge i know all you people in here are able to share i had made some advances... well, since i am mexican sorry if my writing is not so correct. I read along some several stuff in here and i think in the forums you call it baseball bat... well i had my unit a little curved to the left side and with side stretching its now almost straight...

My starting stats are as for today:

    Starting stats 9/16/10 BPSFL 4.250"x FG 3.875", BPEL 6.5 " x EG 4.5"

Since i'm going to have time since my girl, is studing abroad... i think trying to gain an inch is my first goal...
I'm going to start as a newbie with the routine and maybe in a month change to intermediate... i've been doing stretches, and jelquind and ulis... but this is the first time that i'm going to record the progress...

if anyone has any tip... you are well come to post... and please post.. i got lots to learn!!!

Also - BPFSL is bone pressed stretched flaccid length. It seems the measurement you have recorded is simply bone pressed flacid length. You might want to change that.

Welcome to the gym Tristamr! The absolute best place to start reading is here Start here . Below are some beginner routines to look at as well. It takes 90 days on a beginner routine to get conditioned before starting an intermediate routine so take it slow. This isn't like normal exercising and you really need to ease into it.
Make sure you read the safety first thread and educate yourself prior to starting. Good luck man

Thank guys. By the way the link 'start here' was not reachable, but hte success story was really ilustrative. Now i know i must take it easy but constant...and that some time is needed to rest. i wont be seeing my girl until new year, so hopefully will get her some sorprises then, she has never ever ever complained (and i feel really good about that) actually she has enjoyed more than i do, i'm almost sure about that... but gaining some more, is like going to the gym... pure vanity. yeih!!!

            see you around guys.

The "start here" link is the first in this list.

You will probably find all the links useful.

                  hi there...
i've been reading several of the routines but from all the ones i've read i've become a little lost.

what do the ppl with knowledge think about this:

                  warm up... 5-10 min.
stretches... front, sides, up and down... 5 to 7 min.
jelquin... 15 min. the wet one...
                  stretches... 5 min.
                  warm down..

                  thanks..
ps.. if i do it in the mornin... when the unit has gone down a little... do the warm up is necessary? (ok.. just read the importance of warming up... i'm making my rice sock... thanks)

                    sounds fine mate
just remember light grip while jelqing, stretch untill u feel the ligaments dont apply more then necessary
easy peasy to begin with then gradually add intensity as u progress
u might also want to start a progress log? good to keep tracks so u can see the changes

I think you'll go far in this game tris, good warm up, slow n steady, open to advice, the fundamentals, i feel. Reckon your routine looks sound for starting out mate. Just pay attention to PI's n shit and if its too heavy you could drop the second lot of stretches for a bit. All the best!

ok, for today i done the routine.

i think i'm doing more than what i initially expected... but, not much stress i havent had any pains, just a little irritation at the base. i think that when i am jelqing, i am jelqing the closest i can to the base of my unit, so i think i might need to depilate alittle... any ideas.

                              tris.

                              tomorrow i rest.
