  • Scientific approach

    Hi everybody!

I've been member for some time, reading other posts and decided it was time to jump in.

First of all, I'm not new to the whole PE concept and jelquing. I've tried and it didn't realy work. I was exercising for
7 weeks( first 4 weeks one day on, one day off, for about 20min | the next 3 weeks 2 days on, one day off for about 40min)-
warm up, strechnig, jelquing, v-strech, jelq and hold and warm down at the end.
I must admit I wasn't disciplined and thing is I've experienced only harder erections bit no "sustainable" gains.

Here is the thing. I'm not being skeptical about it, or negative, just thinking scientificly- this is a matter that is measureble,
therefore it can be proven or disproven. There is no "believe it", "have positive attitude" type of thing- either it works or it
doesn't, simple as that. I hope the first one is the case, but I don't wanna fool myself.
Do you got any proof of your claims- as proof I consider "before and after pictures", studies that can pass the rigorous
scientific methods? Are there any serious science papers on the subject that are medically proven? Any serious
publications or something like that? If not, why not, and is there possibility that you are all deluding yourself?!

Anyway I've decided I'm going to prove that this works, or I'm going to put this thing to the grave. Now I'm more dedicated than ever
before and just started 90days routine. As a success I consider gain around 0.8'' in length and around 0.5'' in girth. I'm starting at
5.7'' length and 5.1'' in girth, so if I be around 6.3'' and 5.5'' in sometime March I'll be the happiest man alive, if not I'll know that I did
everything possible to overcome this life setback.

I hope I didn't offended anyone, but I'm really tired of "works100% of the time" type of medications and things you need to buy and do
in order to enlarge your penis.

Welcome or I guess I should say congratulations on your first post. I have gained a little over an inch in length, a 1/2 inch in girth and have doubled my flaccid hang, sorry I don't post pictures, even if I did who's to say that I wouldn't cheat like using a smaller scale ruler. If I had no measurable gains I would keep at it due to the improvement of my erections. My personal journal is enough to keep me going and I don't have anything to sell. You will either try PE for yourself or you won't. You'll have to suit yourself as to why you want to spend time and effort, even if it's just to prove a point. To the best of my knowledge the only thing that work 100% of the time is death and I know people who will argue that point. PE is not for everyone, but it sounds like your going to give it a fair shake.

        Welcome aboard!
One note of caution: be very careful about putting dates to your goals. We all know the old adage about a goal without a deadline being nothing more than a wish, but in this case your body might not operate on the schedule that you would prefer.
Remember that this is not a race.
In any case, thanks for posting and I look forward to following your progress.

Thanks for the replays, but the end part wasn't retorical, I really want to know are there any scientific papers on the subject?
Is anybody putting his/her career on the line and making Phd thesis out of it, or something like that.

p.s. It's my first post, and now I've noticed some gramar and spelling irregularities and I promise it won't happen in the future

You might take a look at these articles:

              Welcome to the Gym Biggie_Smalls,
Sadly, the only scientific papers that you'll find regarding PE concern extenders: here's the link to a recent review on the subject (the pdf file is too big to be attached but maybe I can send it to you via PM if you want!).
Non-invasive methods of penile lengthening: fact o... [BJU Int. 2010] - PubMed result
Here's one of the main article on extenders: A pilot phase-II prospective study to test the 'ef... [BJU Int. 2009] - PubMed result
Your question is why aren't there any scientific proof that PE works? IMO, it's mainly a problem of money: research needs money to be done and doing a clinical study is very expensive. This was done for extenders because the companies that build them are paying to legitimate their products but I'm afraid that no one will ever give money, except maybe an excentric millionaire (hey, where are you?) in order to prove that jelqing and stretching really work! Plus, it's far from being a matter of public health.
So I'm afraid that if you really want the proof that PE works, you'll have to experiment it on your own penis...
              Hope that helped!

I'm really cautious about the subject, that's why I'm asking these questions. Thanks for the links!

Despite everything I'm going to do the routine for 90 days (87 left), something like "SuperSizeMe", except I'm not going to make a move out of it.

                    Have fun though.
I am actually a firm believer in the 'YOU MUST BELIVE IN IT/YOURSELF' attitude.
Not because it helps gains, but it can help when they don't come. People try this, measure, see nothing, then quit. Took me a bit over a month before I gained anything, but then it grew like a weed.
Since then, gaining has been slow, but I have gained bit by bit.
In over a year it's been one and one quarter inch in length and a bit over a half inch in midshaft girth.
Not to mention my flaccid size has gone up a LOT.
                    Starting Size (09/2009): ~7"BPEL x ~5" MSEG
                    Most Recent Measurement (08/13/2012): 8"BPEL x 5.5"MSEG

Well like I said I'm giving this thing more than a fair shot, 90 days of disciplined workout. I joined this forum just because of that, to help me stay focused over that period of time. Winston Churchill said "attitude is that small thing that makes big difference.", I don't expect results in one month period, but I do expect some results after the 90days are past.
Like I said I have to do this, I came to a point in my life where I must see if I can get over the Small Penis Syndrome by enlarging my penis or I have to look for alternatives.

I have done about 225 hours of extender wearing over the last 3 months as my first ever experiment in PE and no doubt about it, my todger is responding in both length and girth, mostly length. I am over 40 and people of my generation were told you are born with all you will ever have between your legs and PE is a waste of time unless you like sitting around looking at your tallywhacker. My erect tallywhacker would barely touch 7 inches on a bone pressed measurement for the first 40 some years of my life. Measuring is always a bit variable of course, but I since I started doing PE 3 months ago I check it a lot, and I am now able to touch 7.5" no doubt about it. Whether this is permanent length gain is too early to tell, but the peer-reviewed medical studies on extending suggest it is at least partially permanent such that you can keep it with a little maintenance work. Apparently the suspensory ligament at the base of the penis is either getting stretched, or it is growing through mitosis due to all the stretching. Most people say they get strong length growth for the first inch worth of PE work they do, then after that it is at a slower rate and they go to other methods of PE to get more length. Definitely give it a try.

Where there is PE there is love and understanding.

                        Start, Oct. '10:
                        BPEL: 7.0"
                        May 2014:
                        BPEL: 7 and ~7/8"
                        Goals:
                        2014: BPEL 8.0"
                        2025: BPEL 36.0"
