  • New guy here

    Good evening all,

I have been lurking around this fantastic website for a few weeks now, and finally joined up yesterday. My current statistics are BPEL 5.5 " and EG 4.0" (these ain't accurate measurements at the moment), and although I am somewhat happy with my size I do think that it could be alot better. It also has an aim of improving a bit of self confidence, especially being around the locker room in work and the gym.
I started doing some Kegels about a week or so ago, doing 50 reps whilst holding for around one second. I hope that I am performing this exercise correctly, otherwise it is a wasted exercise if doing it incorrectly. But I am sure time and practice will ensure that I am contracting in the correct muscle.
I started the JP 90 day routine today due to the amount of people recommending it for beginners. I find it somewhat easy to follow and I am sure again practice will improve the way that I do them to ensure they are being done correct.

Well I have the determination, having bags full of that but the patience is going to be the challenge...I have a very limited amount of that, so hopefully all this PE will teach me some patience!!

Having done the second day of the JP 90 day, I have already improved the way that I am performing the jelqing exercises and will continue to try and improve when doing them tomorow. I do have problems performing the stretching elements especially when performing the "helicopter spins", so as of now am leaving those out.

yeah, determination is good, and I am the same. I have to remind myself not to try and force the issue too...

                Welcome!

Buy a tape measure and use it, don't get discouraged, I'm trying not to measure anymore as I've only been doing PE for about 3 weeks.

Also, if you can, get a nice picture of a BPEL with a ruler now. I have read in another post how people regret not having a nice "before" shot. I should take mine myself.

SumGuy, thanks for the advice and I have a 10meter tape measure! Think that will be sufficient?

Ill take your advice and take a photo would be good to look back in many years to come at the before and after results of all the PE'ing.
