    Hello!

The reason I have joined this website is because of the same reason as all of you.
Before i start trying out the beginner routines I have a couple of questions you might be able to answer:

    - Are the results of the exercises lasting also after you stop doing these exercises? or do you have to keep doing them for the rest of your life to make the changes lasting? (personal experiences from fully grown adults? research?) Because I read on another website (can't find it right now) that those increases are always temporarily and won't last....
    - Currently I am about 14 cm erect(I think 5,5 inch) long > what is a realistic goal considering that I have time to spend around 30minutes a day on this...(I read that some people spend hours a day on this, I however do not have the time for this)?
    - I dont know how you guys measure girth (at the base, middle, head?)but I measure around 15cm at the base erect... what is a realistic goal on this?
    - Could increasing length have a negative effect on girth and visaversa?

Thank you in advance for answering,

    Kaas

Welcome to the community. I can answer a couple questions. You can measure your girth anywhere you want; just measure there every time.

Are the gains long lasting? I assume you must continue at least a moderate exercise routine in order to keep your gains. I would guess 10-20 minutes a day after you see the gains you want. Why do I assume that? Well, I lift weights five days a week and I do cardio every day. I injured my shoulder some time ago and I got up to 200lbs...then I had surgery on my should and stopped lifting for 18 months. When i started lifting again I was at 176lbs. Why? Because I was no longer stressing my muscles and my body reacted to the new environment and behavioral change.

Weight training and PE are about the same, even though the tissues are made of different material. However, your body reacts to the environment and makes subsequent changes. For example, during the winters humans melanin (skin pigmentation chemical) reduces causing the skin to be anywhere from lightly less dark to extremely less dark; I have white skin and during the winter my skin gets even more white and during the summer I get a very slight tan--damn my Norwegian ancestry (not really, I love my ancestry...just want to get a tan). Our bodies acclimate to the environment in almost every way. For example, humans who live closer to the equator are generally darker, taller, and have less body fat than people who live closer to the poles.

Your biology expresses itself based on three things: 1) genetics, 2) the environment, or 3) genetics and the environment. Nothing else. So, just like a body builder will lose his muscle mass a PEer will lose his penis gains if he chooses not to exercise anymore.

maintenance routines actually can be done much less frequently, a quick maintenance workout can be done once or twice a week after gains are cemented, for some even that much is not required. if your gains are cemented you may keep them with very little mantenance at all.
You will not lose girth if you gain length or vice versa, mot of the time you will gain in both to some degree but you will not sacrifice one for the other. most people who hang claim gains in girth but hanging is suppose to be the ultimate length gainer, yet gains in girth are common.
No body gains in the exact same fashion, when I started I was looking for length and gained a 1/4 in girth as well and it didnt upset me too much.
Stick with one of the beginner routines and take from there in 90 days, good luck and enjoy the gym
