Hey guys, I plan on starting PE because I find my length/girth to be a bit disproportiante. I'd like to have some extra length, an inch would be fantastic. I am a 20-year old university student from Europe. My stats right now:

    Length: 6.8 inches
    Girth (circumference): 6.5 inches

I think you can see the problem here. The girth is there, but the whole thing isn't that impressive.

So I already have some questions:
    1. How long would it (usually) take to reach an extra inch in length? (my LoT is at 6:00)
    2. Does having a high testosterone affect your gains in any way?
    3. How much research is actually done on the subject of PE?

    Thanks in advance,

    Me

    Welcome to PeGym.

It all depends on genetics and health (which helps in the repair time and fibers growth time). I would suggest before you start doing anything that you read up on PE and the penile anatomy to get a better understanding. JP's 90 is the best (in my opinion) routine to start with; many do see gains from it within the 90 days (including myself).
    Begin 7/25/2011:
    NBPEL 7, BPEL 7.2, MEG 5.6, BEG 6

    Current 12/05/2014:
    FL 5.25, FG 5.2
    NBPEL 7.8, BPEL 8.1, UEG 5.75, MEG 6.25, BEG 6.7

    Long:
    UEG:MEG 6.5

      Hi bronxo to PEGym

It is thought that girthy guys may find it more difficult to gain in length, so you might have to accept the possibility that it could take longer for you. The time it takes to gain an inch varies from person to person. I just found out today that BigO gained ⅞" in the first three months (but then took several more months to get the last ¼"). But then others may see only ¼" in a whole year. Those are kind of the two extreme ends, and you'll probably lie somewhere in between.

Testosterone has a positive impact on PE, as it is involved in the production of growth hormone and vaso-dilator messenger chemicals that cause erections. There are natural herbal supplements that can boost testosterone, and there's a thread call Erection Tea by Kingpole that discusses the 5 G's that you might want to check out.

It seems that accepted science and medicine is behind in regards to the reality of PE, but there are some that have put in a lot of research. Big Al of meCoach would be one, and Aaron Kemmer author of Exercising the Penis is another, not to mention the members of this forum, and our collective experience.

So in wrapping up this lengthy welcome, stay patient and consistent, and I would suggest jelqing at lower erection levels if possible or you may gain more in girth than in length.

      Good luck
