  • New Here, kinda new to PE

    Hi everyone,

I've been doing PE - mostly dry jelquing and a little bit of stretching - extremely inconsistently and without any set schedule, very off and on, for a couple of years now. I have gone months and even years without performing any kind of exercises. Accordingly, I haven't noticed really any gains whatsoever. So, I'm here now to give it a real try, doing it the right way. I am not quite sure what kind of routine I should get started with and what kind of workouts - mostly because, like I said, I've done some amount of PE before. I've done a lot of very strenuous exercises, resulting in a lot of bruising, red spots, etc. - "shock workouts" are I think what you call them. But now I really want to start a good, healthy regimen. I'm wondering if I should start at the beginning or, given my (bad) experience, start with a routine that is kicked up a notch. Any thoughts?

    Thanks!!

I'm not sure by your description if you would be ready for a heavier routine. You describe your workouts to be very inconsistent, so I'm not convinced you have the proper conditioning for something that is harder than the JP90.
The good thing about this routine is that it's versatile. You can increase the pressure of the jelq, the jelq length time, how many days you go on and off and all that jazz.
It's light enough to be considered a newb's routine, but reliable enough that even vets go back to it.

Just make sure you do your warming up and keep the workouts consistent.

      Welcome to the gym bro!

I'd suggest you take it slow. Slow and steady is the way to go.
Like Toad already said you can try the JP90 (sticky on the beginners forum). If that's too intense for you, try PESG's routine, its a bit lighter than the JP90. Remember: lighter doesn't always mean you won't gain. Less is more in PE-world.

Enjoy your stay! Feel free to ask some more questions.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the help and support. Yeah, while I have definitely subjected my penis to some strenuous exercise, I wouldn't say that it is 'conditioned.' And I definitely will take that 'less is more' advice into serious consideration, Brainsick. The biggest challenge for me will be to find a good routine - and to stick with it. As I said, I've been very inconsistent in the past, and I know that this is all about consistency. I do have a practical question though: How often do you guys measure? I feel like I will want to keep close tabs on any potential growth, but don't want to be watching the proverbial pot boil.

        Thanks again,

Come to think of it, I think I might be measuring wrong altogether. Do you guys use strictly ruler, or measuring tape. I've always used the latter on account of an upward curve. Also, where do you measure for girth? Base, middle, tip? I assume not just where it is thickest around, right?
