  • Who I am...

I posted this elsewhere, but got no replies. Everybody seems to get replies on here so I'll try my luck. It does kind of fit here because this is my story but I also want a solution. So here goes...

I noticed two problems with my penis about a year ago now, which kind of go hand in hand. When I was younger I used to masturbate a lot, and I think I used to tug it pretty hard. I was doing it (masturbating) since before my penis started growing during puberty. Jelqing took me from around 6" in length to almost 8". Probably around 7.5" in just a couple of months. I never really measured girth or paid attention, but I know that I also got significant gains in girth too. Sorry for no exact measurements, but they aren't really important. If you want to get an idea though, my thumb and forefinger almost touch when I grip my penis about half way down the shaft; I have medium-large hands for a man. So for any who may be wondering, or new to the site as I am, jelqing does give you results, and good ones at that.

So, anyway, the problem. The problem is not from jelqing, I'm almost certain it's due to masturbating too frequently with a grip that is too hard before and during growth due to puberty. I'm perfectly happy with the size, but not at all with the shape.

It still functions, but being a virgin (I'm young) I don't know what it would be like for intercourse. My penis curves to the left slightly, which wouldn't be a huge problem on its own. But it's not only that. The right side of my penis is fine until about half way up toward the shaft, then it tapers toward the centre or left quite rapidly. I believe that my right CC is smaller, as it had less growth because of my masturbation technique. I am uncut and my foreskin is completely normal, no problems there. Not too loose, not too tight.

I've tried to combat the curve by jelqing to the right, apparently this works? And to combat the smaller, right CC, I have been jelqing just the right side of my penis with my thumb and forefinger. I'm not sure at all as to if it has been working or not. I don't really feel like it is being engorged with blood. although it does make me slightly harder and go red because of the blood accumulating, which probably a good sign. Just that I don't actually feel the plumpness and what not. Please remember that I need to focus on girth from half way up my right CC to the head of my penis. Not length. Sometimes I get quite depressed and worried about it. Is it ugly? Will I be able to have sex? Will it freak girls out?

I just wanted to know if, first of all, does anybody think it can be fixed, or at least have the problem lessened. If so, what steps and methods should I take to correct it? How long do you think it might take (taking into consideration that my gains were quite fast)? Do you think I'll be able to have sex from how it sounds?

It is definitely not peyronies. Although I haven't had it seen to or checked out, There is no hard lumps and I am almost 100% sure it is due to my stupid tugging techniques. I'll try my best to show you how it looks with paint, but I don't expect it too be great.

Okay, so, that isn't exact, but I guess it's close enough. The red lines show the degree of curvature if my penis was normal. The centre line is trying to show that my right CC is much thinner. And the right red line is to show how my right CC is fine until half way up and then tapers inward.

Thank you so much for your time, just reading all of that is greatly considered; I would be over the moon to get a possible solution. Preferably with a description. Baring in mind that I wouldn't like to use any of those contraptions that go around your penis, or hanging or wrapping or whatever it is. A nice jelq with a description would be best.

Although I do understand that it will more than likely always have a slight degree of curvature as is normal, and my right CC may never be perfect, a nice improvement definitely wouldn't go amiss. Though I'm not expecting any miracles.

    Thanks again, theN.

Welcome to the gym, the smartest thing you can do is go to a doctor and see if there's actual damage to your penis. If not then jelqing again the curve can fix a curve. After 3 months of PE conditioning(like the jp90 beginner routine) you can try and fix the shape with advance exercises like uli's. But even then there's no guarantee what your actual problem is without a professional checking things out.

I don't think any ladies would have a problem with you. We all come in different shapes and sizes. Do what Steve said but please don't stress about it.

Thanks, that's all I was looking for. A little reassurance and a suggestion or two. Is it wise to do the beginner routine before attempting to correct curves, in the way of getting better results? Will they be faster, or safer?

          Yes.

Big Al is like a personal trainer for the penis and sometimes deals with this style of thing.

Jelqing using the hand opposite the curve should help, but if that fails to give you the results you want you can try the following exercise.

As far as your masturbatory activities having an effect on your development, you're very likely correct on that assessment. This applies not only to shaping your penis but also to your sensory threshold (also known as the Point Of No Return, or PONR). It's quite easy to condition yourself through masturbation, which is one of the reasons why "edging" woks so well. In your case, you may need to do the reverse of what you were doing to get to where you are in your current condition. For the purposes of shaping, that's going to require you to use much the same plan for your masturbation/edging as you do for your exercise- use the hand opposite the curve.

Regarding conditioning, I'd caution you against using too firm a grip on your penis when masturbating. Overconditioning your penis with high tension while masturbating may blunt your sensations once you start engaging in sexual activity. When you do have sex, you'll want to be able to react and enjoy what will likely be a softer, more subtle sensation that what you're used to. You'll also want to be able to ejaculate in a reasonable amount of time- something that can be difficult to do if you're desensitized.

                  Thank you
Thanks for reading and taking time to reply. As you are a reputed member of the forums, it's a little bit of a confidence boost in itself to have you assess and make suggestions for my situation.

I've taken a look at the exercise you suggested and am willing to give it a try later on.

I am fairly well conditioned, I can ejaculate almost when I wish, and I think I've experienced multiple orgasms before. Well, if you believe men can experience those. I'm not too sure. I suppose there's no real way for me to know of any desensitizing yet, but everything feels okay. I don't take massive amounts of time to get there when I want to. Basically, what I'm saying is that I think everything is working fine. It's just the aesthetic aspect that I'm worried about.

Though since assessing the situation myself, posting the thread and changing my techniques, I do believe I may be seeing some positive change. I understand it was a short amount of time, but my gains were really quick, so I think maybe any alteration that will or are happening will be taking place fairly quickly too. As for the curve and asymmetry, I think they're sorting themselves out okay. My penis seems a lot less asymmetrical now, and perhaps a little less curved. I'm sorry for not providing anything in the way of evidence or measurements but I've just never been into that stuff. Although I am confident it is making a difference.

I've changed my masturbation technique now, I'm not whacking it as hard, or often and I'm trying to apply a better, more penis friendly grip.

Me and my girlfriend are very open with each other, and I spoke about it and she was completely all right with it, no matter how it looked. I know some girls would lie about things like this, but I know her better than she knows herself and I could tell she was being genuine. In fact she seemed totally confused as to why it would bother her at all. So I suppose everything is fine, though I would still like it to be more aesthetically pleasing as it would just make me feel better and more confident about myself and my man hood.

One more thing I've noticed about my penis since doing PE; surprise, surprise, this is a positive... I'm sure I used to have a small purple vein on the top of my penis. It was there for as long as I can remember. I'm talking like probably 7 years old when I first noticed it. Varicose or not, I don't know. But as my penis started growing, so did the mysterious purple vein, it even spread to the side a little. When I started doing PE though, the purple vein must of faded because of it. It wasn't something I was looking out for so I didn't notice at first, but when I was assessing myself one night I noticed it was no longer there.

Thanks again for your time and help. I'll try and keep you/the forum posted about my progress. I can't thank you all enough.

It's not so much "belief" as it is very heavy anecdotal evidence as well as personal experience

The skin of the penis is devoid of fat, so any vascularity under the surface is going to show. Also, a brightly colored blood vessel is not indicative of something wrong. Unless you've noticed pain, swelling or severe torsion of the vessel it shouldn't cause you too much concern.
