Hi All,
This is my first post.
I believe it's always good form for one to do more research before asking for help, but I've hovered long enough and put off developing a routine for long enough that I need to just jump in, and make adjustments down the road, as needed. So this post will be my self introduction, with maybe one general question for whoever might be able to point me in the right direction.
My Background
I'm 23 years old. I'm a virgin. I've had a handful of sexual moments (not intercourse) with random girls but almost nothing for the past few years. A few of those moments I deliberately cut short for fear of premature ejaculation.
The reasons for my lack of sexual experience are pretty complex. It might be relevant for me to discuss this in a separate post. At this point I'm considered pretty good looking, athletic, attractive. But I have very high standards for myself and (future/potential) partners. I'm not at all in a rush to fuck just for the sake of loosing my virginity. But I do want to develop a well rounded practice right now, so that when the time comes I'll be confident and perform well.
I know to treat this like a long term, regular training practice like one would treat strength training or breath meditation.
I eat an extremely nutrient dense and low toxin diet, and do regular strength training, working toward incorporating more aerobic training into my exercise regime. My sleep is good, and my overall stress mitigation is pretty good considering I'm at a big transition point in my life and haven't gotten over the hump to independence.
Another point, possibly relevant: my libido is SUPER fucking high. I attribute this to the lifestyle factors mentioned above. This colors a lot of my situation especially related to not having a good outlet to express my sexuality. Things are complicated with me. I hope to use this forum as a way to explore and refine my own understanding of this aspect of my being.
My issues/goals
First, premature ejaculation
This is the biggie. I know from my couple prior sexual experiences, regular masturbation, and, recently, some massage parlor experiences, that I'm extremely prone to coming too quickly. It's difficult for me to tell whether this is more related to 1) neurotransmitter imbalances, 2) over-sensitivity, 3) psychological issues such as too much masturbation/porn, 4) simple inexperience, or what. Probably all of the above.
I think this is the biggest limiting factor for me sexually right now. If I thought I could last as long as I wanted, I would definitely be more aggressive and sexually active.
So, PremE is priority #1.
I'm currently trying to do more research on this. There is so much material on this issue in this forum. Currently trying to wrap my head around all the kegel variations and how to program them effectively, as well as the benefits and drawbacks of ballooning. I'm very very interested in more esoteric practices related to dry/multiple orgasms, basically retaining semen indefinitely, or getting to a point that I can cum when I decide to. I know this is an ambitious goal, but why not?
Second, erection quality.
In heated moments, I feel and expect that I don't have enough time to get to full EQ before I fall in danger of coming prematurely (that's not a problem when masturbating because I can control the stimulation). This issue is a bit fuzzy because I'm not having any real sexual experiences to judge from. But my feeling is that in addressing issues 1 and 3 (prem-e and size) that erection quality is covered.
Third, size.
Just now, I measured my dick. You can see the measurement in this (somewhat gratuitous) video: http://cl.ly/0R3C1U2i2L0B/19.mov
This time (it varies a lot) the length was roughly 6.4 inches, using a standard of measurement that I'll be able to remember. My girth today was ~5.8 inches. I will update my measurements if I make ones that are different or more accurate.
I don't have a set-in-stone goal as far as size goes, but 8x6 would be fun. In general, when I have 8-10 erection quality (the video was probably a 7 in terms of EQ), I'm very pleased with my size. But that's not terribly common. I could definitely be better and more consistent.
My question(s)
I've got Aaron Kemmer's book "Exercising the Penis". Based on my goals, I'm trying to decide between the handful of beginners routines posted on this forum, or trying to piece together something from my own research on these forums. I'm looking for the most up-to-date or 'cutting edge' routine for a beginner in my situation but feel that there probably isn't one, and I'll have to develop something custom because PremE is such a complex and opaque issue.
Basically, I'd like to get started training ASAP, so I'm writing now without having absorbed all of the material on this forum — is EtP the best info out there?
Or would I be better served by piecing together a super customized routine based on extensive scraping of the threads in this forum?
Any other thoughts, advice, words of encouragement, would be appreciated!
I'm glad to be joining this community and I hope to make useful contributions.
Despite the length of this post I've certainly left a lot about my situation out. I'll post more as my questions get clearer and I do more research.
