I take these nutrition gurus with a grain of salt. Yes, any food done in excess is bad for you regardless of how it is farmed, raised or cultivated. But if you practice a balanced diet where everything is in moderation, you should be able to enjoy all the things on the list without concern for your health. Look to the Asian population that consumes soy is some form practically everyday - seems they are dealing with an overpopulation issue as opposed to an impotence issue. So, come on, live life, enjoy food and enjoy flavor. Treat yourself, just don't spend your entire adult life eating pizza everyday or living strictly on burgers and fries. Makes sense to balance your meals, include a vegetable and starch and partake in a nice dessert from time to time to satisfy the sweet tooth. You will live a long and prosperous life.

Way better then those fake foods in the store.

Now, for example,a friend gave me some boar meat for helping him Another friend got a lot of chickens and quails and I buy from him. There is a woman here that sells real milk and real milk products on the streets ( early in the morning, while instituations looking for this kind of thing are still sleeping ahahah).I got a lot of fruits in my garden and veggies and a lot of people bring all kinds of natural foods to me.Just trying to stay away from the commercial stores that sells you crap.

Recently I enjoy from this fruits, because now they are growing in my garden:

Looking poison, but they are actually very healthy! Even we send them to a child with diabetes, because she can eat them (doctors say that it`s good).

I got some tomatoes now and they make the whole garden to smell like tomatoes...if you buy them from the store, they smell/taste like plastic

So guys,I think that it`s not from the foods, but from the way they are proccessed now, that`s what I am trying to say here.
Blackberry's, These we love but cant get them in Greece although they grow here but to hot to fruit, these are cooked up with apple and served with a good Greek yogurt, Cornish clotted cream or just vanilla ice cream, or great in pies or mixed red fruits, and very good for jam making.

We make jam from them as well. It`s my favourite jam after the white cherry jam.My mother do some natural fruit ice cream with blackberry...very tasty and no sugar.

          Pegasus
,those grow in big trees right?I think I know them. Some people around here call them "dooda" .If you stop your car under the tree of those,it`s big mistake, looks like your car been in an accident

I also got morello in my garden.I love those when they are put in jar and left until they start turning into alcohol fruits. After that we put the alcoholic fruits on cackes and pies and such things.Very tasty.

My mulberry crop failed . Never mind my papaya crop is doing well and my honeysuckle crop .

Re test though olive is good for test production and I hope for a good crop.

Got news for you people organic growing practices have as many of these problems as non organic, and a few more. They still use pesticides, they still use fertilizers (organic fertilizers, like dung actually increase antibiotic resistant bacteria in the soil. Even when from organiclly fed animals).

Organic food is no better for you. It's a marketing tool. If you really want to control your food sources, you have to farm it yourself.
If they use pesticides on their produce, it obviously isn't organic anymore, no matter what any "organic" control organ may let fly. It really is a no-brainer that food which hasn't been sprayed with poison, or hasn't been genetically modified in a labratory, or hasn't been grown on an chemically artificial cocktail is healthier for you, all other factors considered equal. Vegetables are penetrated by and subsist of all types of substances they are in contact with, just as people. You don't simply "wash it off".

As for being a "nut", I think that is a much more suitible characterization of people who put all faith in a farming practice that hasn't been tested for more than a couple of generation, instead of people who swear by the practice that has been tested and lived by for over 10.000 years.
