Has anybody here ever used this in like a tea? I just bought this stuff because the benefits were looking good. It says that it lowers DHT levels, releases free test so that helps in libido. Im wondering if lowering your DHT levels as a guy is a good thing since DHT helps build muscle I read somewhere, and what happend to you taking it. It says its safe but I would like to see somebodys opinion.

Lowering DHT will lower libido over time. It only has positive effects for old people with low test levels already. Any over the counter supplement that says it increases test, actually just blocks the conversion of test to dht. That allows more free test to stick around. DHT is responsible for a big chunk of your libido and it also blocks estrogen.
In short.
Do Not Take.

I had a bunch of stinging nettle around the perimeter of my yard and made a tea from it. I did enough research to want to try it, but didn't consume it for long enough to get any measurable effects. If I were to buy it, I'd only do so from a reputable source. Making it into a therapeutic requires picking the right parts of the plant at the right time and preparing it properly. It's not as easy as throwing pickings into a pot.
Google "stinging nettle uses side effects" and you'll find some good info from reliable sources (e.g. webmd, scientific papers). BBC Action is right - stinging nettle does inhibit the test to dht conversion. That's not necessarily a bad thing if that is the effect you need to treat what ails you.Start: BPEL 6.75', EG 5.8", BPFL 4.5", FG 4.7", BPFSL 7.0"

Yeah I just read the new article about some pill that blocks DHT, it kinda makes me second guess using it. Its really confusing because some sources say it helps balance hormones. I was wondering if I took it for a week or two that would it balance things in a positive way. Oh yeah I also got it from mountainrose herbs.

"Balancing" hormones can take weeks of therapy for changes to be noticeable, sometime months before everything balances out. It depends on a ton of factors. Don't over-do because taking too much is more likely to throw you off worse or have side effects than it is to get positive benefits faster. Hormone therapy is a process, not a get fixed fast thing. If you think you have a significant imbalance, I would strongly recommend seeing an endocrinologist. Hormone therapy is a tricky process to get right and is tailored specifically to a patient.Originally posted by FoeDollas View PostYeah I just read the new article about some pill that blocks DHT, it kinda makes me second guess using it. Yeah I have to get a hormone check done. I was really falling down with myself from smoking too much bud, drinking, doing nothing for my health. I could tell my immune system went downhill because I lost the color to my skin, started getting eczema, and balding on the back of my head. I fixed my self a lot thru time like no more eczema and I got my color back, its just now I'm looking for a solution to the thinning on the crown, Korean ginseng has been helping but I'm trying to do more. I'm going to test it for a week or two and see how it effects me, if its negative I'm definitly done. I bought other herbs too just was iffy on this one.

Blocking DHT prevents balding, but if you are naturally balding you would just be delaying the inevitable. You will still continue balding. Excess DHT from drugs like Winstrol also contribute to balding. DHT is responsible for hair growth as well, so it is a double edged sword. You can always use shampoo with dht in in instead of consuming it. I'm willing to bet you've been damaging your liver and kidneys from what you've written.
