  • The athletes combo

When I was living with my cousin in the American hockey league (ahl) he used to make a shake every morning before training: l glutamine, whey protein, one bananna, creatine monohydrate followed by a glass of grape juice.

I did some reading on this: the glutamine is good for repair, has all the healthy fats in it.
They whey protein is a harmless supplement that you can take big scoops of to keep your weight up. The banana was just for flavour but the creatine you need to take in loading and maintenance and cycling with a break from it times (3 modes) the grape juice was just to get the creatine into the muscle s quicker, you could also use water and corn starch/ icing sugar.

I used to flirt with creatine in high school to get bigger. Does anybody have a similar shake with a multi mega men vitamin and also for those trying to pack on weight have you heard of mass builder? It's just a shit load of calories in one scoop.

Deontay Wilder the boxer in order to get bigger has to stop and take breaks just eat or grab protein if he wants to come in a little bit heavy because his metabolism is so fast.

I don't mess with n.o. 2 (nitrous oxide) because it's a stimulant equals danger for my heart.

What else do you guys take for gymratting it? Interested to know.

Never was interested in creatine, increases dht so faster balding. Its fake muscles to me, you get bigger but you stop your back to square one. Might as well build the hard way. I used c4 shredded and liked it because the ingredient was mucuna puriens, or how ever you spell it. Thats dopamine and made me feel real good.

I wouldn't count the banana as just a flavoring. The banana sugars will increase insulin production, required to mobilize proteins for muscle anabolism. I'd recommend a simple sugar powder, instead - something without the fiber that a banana has - but the banana addition still makes good sense in that combo.

You're not back to square one when you stop creatine. Sure, you lose the water weight that it adds to the muscle, but you still have whatever muscle gains you made while on it (which creatine aids in building) and that doesn't go away just from stopping creatine.

Sure. And electrolytes are good, especially if you're losing a lot of water (endurance training, etc...) but the primary benefit in the workout drink would be for the calories and to stimulate the insulin production.
