I think there could be a number of implications to this and similar research . Obviously it is at an early stage and one must be careful applying animal research . Nevertheless given the site often discusses issues at the cuting edge or ahead of the science .

    https://www.pegym.com/articles/muscl...is-enlargement

So there are 3 parts to this the implication for bodybuilding as it were .
    The implications for Pe .
The implications for pelvic floor training.

At a very basic level the implications for bb would seem to be doing a dead hang after say chins would be advantageous .
It seem to support extender use but I think there is more to be teased out .
I am unsure on the pelvic floor implications and would like to discuss and think on them.

The research on animals is still " cutting edge", the PE connection, however, is ten years old. I‘m curious to see who has tried the shocking routines and their take on the topic.

Hmm... bit confused by the article. Would it not have been better to recommend an all day stretcher or extender to heal in that position, rather than the DLD blaster or shock routine?

I actually posted about this four years ago https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-d...ml#post1012087

there seems to be more of an evidence base for long duration hanging than anything else (for the theory at least, I’m not aware of any studies looking specifically at it).

I am told there is some pilates style training involving this . Still surprised little attention has been paid to it..

                Yeah, no idea.

I wondered why my original post never got any traction. It seems to underpin the theory of what we are trying to do.

If only there was a way to hang for 24hrs. Could lead to some fast gains over a month.

The all day stretcher/hanger concept is established . So extenders are commonly used for long duration ,while hangers tend to short duration "all day" hanging is a known method.
