  • dynamic stretching v.s isometric stretching?

i was reading something interesting about athletics the other day talking about how athletes now more and more are doing dynamic stretching before there exercises leaving isometric stretching after there exercises this in relation into pe. is JAI stretching considered dynamic stretching while isometric stretching is more like hanging and manual hold for 30 sec stretching?

    Hi rockythunders ,
    Interesting and thought provoking theories.

Yet, a critical piece of information to consider is those dynamic vs. isometric stretches are for MUSCLES. The penis and associated parts are ligaments, collagenous tissue, dermal tissue, etc. So these tissues (muscles vs. dick) react differently. (I would assume)
Dynamic stretching is used so the atheles will not pull anything under their performance (and still impart more blood flow to muscles), then they stretch isometrically ( a cool down & to impart blood back to the muscles).
But we want micro-trama so the tissues will heal bigger and stronger, thusly, creating enhanced genitals.

So maybe we whant the exact opposite. Actually thats the way my workout is structured (mostly). Easy --->Hard exercises

Ohh btw I'm a B.S. in kinesiology and a personal trainer.

    Started PE irregularly (2004)
    Initial estimates: NBPEL <6.5"

Now that I have enjoyed the gains, of wisdom & penis enlargement, I am serious about a consistant PE routine.
    Current measurements: BPFL 9" BPEL 8" EG 5 & 3/4"

I have not used devices in PE other than my hands, but I am a firm believer in dynamic exercises vs static. I consider jelqing as dynamic, pumping as static. Ulis and manual stretching are sort of a compromise between the two.
      FL 6.0"/MFG 5.75", BPEL 7.00"/MEG 6.5"

rockythunders, dimmak321 is right when he says your post about dynamic and isolated stretches is about skeletal muscles. In addition, replacing isolated with dynamic is suppose to warm-up the muscles and prepare for rigorous exercise. The principle is to use moderate activity to increase blood flow to the intended muscles which warms them, making them more pliable before lengthening them.

I think perhaps, the idea of doing warm up exercises on your unit (fire roll, very light jelqs with kegels) before you stretch has merit. These would increase blood flow and warm up the tissue before stretching. However, most routines already recommend warm-ups using an external heat source. This increases blood flow to the tissue making it more pliable.

When I don't have the time for a warm-up I do fire rolls, and light jelqs with kegels to get warm and increase blood flow before doing regular jelqs. In addition, many routines go from light to rigorous exercises capitalizing on the fact the tissue is warm and ready to be stretched.

Athletes do dynamic stretching before working out because of spindles in the muscles. Look it up.
