        Ok....
        I didn't take the time to read through all the posts to see if this was mentioned or not, but here's what I learned in school about it. The phenomenon experienced by males, known as "Morning Wood" is caused by the Circadian Rhythm. During a 24 hour period many things fluctuate in the human body. All of them varrying in relationship to the sleep cycle. During this rhythm, blood pressure, body temp, pulse, and urine concentration just to name a few, rise and fall. Now I want all of you to take a wild guess as to when the male HOROMONES are at there highest??

        Mine are in the morning
        Just hanging around as usual :)

          I go to school, so MWF I wake up at 9:00AM, and TuTh I wake up at 7:00AM. Often I wake up on my own before my alarm goes off (20-40 mins before) to urinate but I often crawl back into bed to wait for alarm. Id say 90% of the time I use an alarm, the other 10% I naturally wake up at those times.

          3. Do you sleep well or do you toss and turn throughout?
          I sleep very well, I often fall asleep within 5-10 minutes and have no issues falling back asleep if I wake up in the middle of the night.

          4. Do you workout ( non-PE) consistently and how many times a week? (optional)
          I go to the gym every MWF for about 2-2.5 hours a each day.

          Recently just turned 23

          Morning wood all the time basically. 2-4 nights of the week I get awoken by nocturnal wood.

                        Go dancing twice a week, 5 hours each night.
                        Usually do other exercise but am studying for some exams now, which is probably why I'm not sleeping well (lack of exercise)

                          I work "swing shift". Three days a week I work 2p-10p, and two nights a week I work 8p-6a. My sleeping schedule is NEVER the same. Sometimes I sleep during the day, sometimes at night. It just depends. I'm 25. Sleep quality on a scale from 1-10, 10 being never toss and turn. Probably a 7. I almost never have wood when I awake, whether it be morning, noon, or night, but on rare occasions, it does. Perhaps once every 3 months or so.

                          -edit- Oh, and I just started PE 3 days ago.
