  • ADD medications and size

This might be the wrong forum but I wasn't sure where to put it so mods if you could put it in its proper place if it is not, that would be great.

I have been taking Concerta for a few weeks now and after classes I come home and go to the bathroom and my unit is TINY. I have a 7 BPEL so I'm not exactly small but after a day on Concerta my flaccid length goes from about a 4.5 inch to a 2 inch and my flaccid girth is GREATLY reduced.

Does anyone know if this medicine actually causes permanent shrinking or if it is just a temporary side effect?

Thats a tough one. If you are an adult and in charge of your own health i would (my personal objective, opinion) is to go off the medication and replace it with grean tea decafinated is the best and well it helps me to focus. I had ADD when i was a kid. Guess what it does not go away in adult hood either. That bastard is still there. Had i known about grean tea when i was in college my GPA would of been more like 3.80 instead of 3.45.

Grean tea has a calming effect.

Now do you have the ADD where you sluggish and slow? Or the hyperactive kind? I had the slow sluggish shit go'n on.

Ask your doctor if this medication causes your turtleing problem. Perhaps he/she can reccomend a medication that does not cause this symptom.

I drink green tea once or twice daily already. I have ADD, not ADHD.

So you have the slow kind. Green tea is great for a lot of health issues one of them being ED. Have you had a thyroid panel done. The slow ADD is usually hypothyroid conected. A low functioning thyroid causes ADD type symptoms. As far as preventing turtleing which should not affect penis gains by the way. Because there are growers out there with 2" inch flaccids but have 7" inch or greater erections.

I just posted this on WebMD since my doctor doesn't work this late haha. I also live three hours from my doctor and a phone appointment takes over a week to get. WebMD has a specialist (psychiatrist?) who answers questions about ADD/ADHD drugs. I don't know how important this is to other people but I will post with an answer from a doctor to see if this is permanent or temporary.

I haven't had the panel done. I was given a written test and and based on that and questioning me, my doctor determined I have ADD.

I just can't get over how small it gets compared to what it is normally though. My rear-view mirror dice also shink up which makes for a reeeeeeeally embarrassing package.

This is very important, keep us posted, good luck getting an answer from them.
I see that you have been growing a big dick! 7" is the begining of large. This puts you in the 90% tile on the good side of the bell shaped curve.

not to worry, Green tea will mellow you out even though it helps with mental focus. Increase to 5 cups per day. If your slugish you may want to complment that green tea with Korean Gensing. Now your really talking big flaccid hang. But Green tea is farely safe. Gensing is in a different ballpark and may actually interfere with the medication your taking. You can ask your docter for about it.

Also try erection tea this may help with flaccid as well. I don't know i prety much hang between 5"-and 6.5" all day long.

i'll pull up the erection tea recipe for you. You can make it with green tea as well as black tea.

Here is the recipe for erection tea.

Fill up a four cup pot with water.
Filter in the place where you put coffee.
                    4-5 bags of black tea.
2-4 tablespoons of ginger, you can get this in a jar at the grocery store.
brew it like you would brew coffee.
Then add a good squeeze of lemon juice.
drink it black or sweaten it with honey.

                    This is good iced to.

Ginger has some of the same vasodilating properites as ginkgo biloba and green tea.
Black tea like green tea is a cortisol blocker and lowers your blood pressure.
Lemon is a natural artery declogger due to its vitamin "C" content and bioflavones.
Honey raises testosterone levels due to its high boron concentration.

Don't put any artificial sweeteners in your erection tea or I will poke you in the eye. Besides artificial sweeteners are bad for the liver.

Wow thanks you guys for the quick responses! Thanks for the compliment king haha.

The Concerta actually keeps me awake. I never feel sluggish when I'm on the medicine. When I'm off of it though WOOOOW I am one LAZY SOB. I feel extremely lethargic and unnmotivated. It works wonders for me but jeeze this shrinking stuff is FAR from cool.

DEFINITELY going to make a trip to the store and grab some lemon juice and ginger. Problem is that I don't have a coffee maker. I might be dumb but do you know how I could make the tea with ginger?

Why no sweetners other than the effect on the liver? I'm a Chem/Bio major so I looooove science stuff haha.

I got a response from WebMD.

"Stimulants are vasoconstrictors (constrict blood vessels), and this could be a possible cause of your symptoms. If this is the case, there would be no "permanent" damage."

                        Dr. Richard Sogn

I know Concerta is a stimulant but I never really thought about it. This makes a lot of sense now. Whew, I feel better .

This still presents a problem for recovery. I have found a way to make the erection tea and have bought some pomegranate tea in hopes that this will improve circulation to counteract this vasoconstriction. I will also try and use a hot wrap more often like in between classes (I live on campus haha).

                        Any other suggestions?
