  • (New?) Theory on Deconditioning? Making gains come way easier

So I had an epiphany about PE a couple weeks ago.

I started PE about 3 1/2 months ago and had fantastic beginner's gains. I'm talking 3/4" in length and 1/4" in girth in under a month. After that, in the next two months using the same regimen I only put on about 3/16" in length and 1/8" in girth. Now I know that isn't slow by any means and I could keep going and get a pretty big dick within a couple years, but we're always looking for a way to speed up the process without damaging that which is most sacred to us.

This is where the epiphany comes in.

It seems to me that most the subsequent two months have been mostly cementing the gains I originally made. So what happens if you make a good streak of gains for a couple months and then decondition despite the fact that you're making gains anyways?

I've searched the forums and found nothing about this except one thread, which really wasn't that good to be honest.

So the theory (which I'm testing out, having not done PE other than kegels in 2 weeks now) is that if you make beginner's gains, make sure they'll stay and stop before your penis has been pushed beyond it's capacity to expand with ease, perhaps the tissue in your penis will relax itself into it's original, non stressed state.

I'm sure it will work to a degree, but has anyone crunched the numbers to see if the gains work out more or less in your favor with such a regimen? If so, what time frames did you use? I'm going to do some experimentation with this because I'm not in a big rush to make my dick huge and I know I'll get there eventually anyways.

Oh, and for a frame of reference, I'm trying 3 months on, 2 weeks off. I start PE again tomorrow, so I will have updates for this post soon.

I like this theory, sound like it might work to me.

I think we're thinking along the same line. Over time I eventually worked up to a pretty intense PE routine. It was to the point where I couldn't devote anymore time each day. So I gradually baby stepped down, taking decon breaks every couple weeks, and using a lighter routine after every one.

Now that I've worked down to a much lighter PE workout, I use about the same light routine (5on 2off), never really uping the intensity too much. I just take around 4-5 days off every 3 weeks and a week or more off every 2 months. Seems to be working for me.

Interesting theory! Even w/ my new gains I notice a slight decrease in size. The real gains show up about 3 months later, so that means that whenever I notice 'new' gains, it's only a breakthrough. So, my solution is to PE for 3 months, decondition for 1 week. Check out my log. I'll keep everyone posted while I'm testing out my theory as well. Good luck you guys

This is also something I've always wondered about and I am thinking along the same lines as you.

But, if I'm not mistaken, "deconditioning breaks" is something I've seen a lot of people talk about so I don't think it's a new idea. In fact it's often the best thing to do when you've plateaued.

          edit:
also, I gained 0.5" within 2 months and lately I have not been seeing gains near as consistently as it used to be.

My friend is a body builder and he does what you are talking about. I have implemented this strategy to my PE as well as my body building. Every 12 weeks he takes seven days off and he administers different exercises when he start up again. The same thing is possible with PE, but I think you would have to keep up with a consistent routine of five days on and two days off for 12 weeks then take the break. This would give your penis a break each week to repair but would also give your penis a break for a week later on. This, in turn, would tell your body that the tension is over and there is no reason to keep repairing. Then BAM! You start back up again which would shock your body and gains would come more easily.

I do some form of PE every day of the week. My next measurement is in two weeks so I won't know how it is going, but I think the successive addition of exercises over time may be more important than the break. That is not to say that it is unimportant. What I mean is, your body will adjust to the tension and duration of stretches. Thus, over time, you must increase either the duration or the tension (or both) of the stretches to tell your body that there is still more mitosis needed. I increase the duration of my stretches every week. I am up to 3 minute stretches and when I started out I believe I was somewhere around 30-45 seconds each.

In short, you have a good idea and it is great to bring it to the forefront of our consciousness. However, this routine would definitely be advanced (which you already understand) and new PEers should still spend 12 weeks conditioning there penis. Perhaps implementing the successive addition of exercises/tension/duration each week would benefit you also. Either way, again, you have a good idea and it is great that you brought it to everyone's attention.

I definitely agree with the 5 days on 2 days off rule. I don't think anyone will get very far not giving Big Jimmy and The Twins a break each week to recuperate. What I'm hoping though, seeing as I haven't been training my dick to deal with a huge amount of stress through years of PE, is to fool my body into being in the same situation it was when I started. I did tack on a few excercises by the end, but warm up and down included, it wasn't over 40 minutes and I'd like to keep it at that.

The way I see it, the experiment is a success if I can tack on a 1/4" in length and a corresponding gain in girth each cycle (3 1/2 months). The experiment will be a smashing success if I can push 1/2" each cycle but only time will tell.

If I hit either goal this cycle, I'll clear 7" and that will make my year!

                Will keep you all posted....

I am planning to do a month on and after the month take 3days off and see how it goes from there?
                  Currently
                  NBPEL: 7inch
                  Girth: 5.50

                  Goal
                  NBPEL:8-9inch
                  Girth:7.50-8

Don't you think just 3 days off is too short for a break after doing 30 days on?

I think you're missing the theory here. The idea is to start with a completely deconditioned penis, get your fast newbie gains, solidify them and then completely decondition your penis again. Repeat

First off, I think it would take a MINIMUM of one month just to get the gains. It would then take at least another month to solidify them so they don't go away when you decondition. Thirdly, I think it takes at least 2 weeks to fully decondition.

Think of it this way, when you get a minor cut, it takes about 2 weeks for it to completely heal right? Same with letting your penis go back to it's original, non stressed state.

On a side note, do you mean 30 days of PE straight or doing 5 days on, 2 days off? I think 30 days of PE consecutively will likely over work the poor little guy...

Due to time constraints I do 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off. I do a version of JP's 90 with more intense stretching and less intense jelqing. Is that too light of a routine to see significant gains and test out your theory? it sounds like it would work to me

                        NBPEL 6.5" (+.25")
                        BEG 5.25" (+.125")

I've actually been curious about a routine similar to that... I mean the time on and off. I think it will still work because the healing process is easily as important as the actual workouts. Let me know if it does

In regards to the stretching more and jelqing less, depending on the stretches you do, it may affect in what way your penis enlarges. I do JPs routine with the addition of 4 sets of tunica tugs while stretching. I do the same amount of jelqs though because I'm shooting for girth more than length. Regardless, there are stretches for both so either way, it should work...

First measurment on the program is in 3 days and I'm pretty sure my little dude has visibly grown already. Not measuring for a week is torture right now because I want to know if it's gotten bigger so badly!

thank you and I hope it's true!
I think I may be able to move to a 2 on 1 off, 3 on 1 off routine now, so we'll see how that goes.
I'm only six workouts in so I won't be able to compare the two, but I have a feeling this one will work better.
2 on 2 off just doesn't seem like enough of a shock to the little guy.

I'm definitely gonna be monitoring your progress thread (if you have one).
                            good luck!

I'd stick with the current setup. 1 day off just doesn't seem to be enough to let the little dude heal. Much the same as building muscle, you need that healing time every bit as much as you need to work out to gain. I'd be doing the 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off routine myself but I have a roomate who doesn't know of my extra curricular activities and it's just easier to do Monday to Friday for me.

On another note, I'm gonna measure tomorrow and get a progress thread going since I won't have time to Monday... I'll try and provide as much exacting detail in my workouts as possible
