  • Kegels before and after meals?

First off I'd just like to say I'm a college student, and being in college I have to share a dorm with another person. Obviously, this has major drawbacks with PE because, with the exception of kegels and fowfers, there isn't a whole lot of subtlety involved with the exercises.
However, I am really into general exercise and lifting, and I was reading up on chemical reactions with fitness (because that's just the sort of thing I do for fun) I came across something called GLUT4. Very basically, it's like a tunnel that opens up allowing direct fuel access to the muscles. If you work out enough directly before and after eating, the food is carried by GLUT4 straight to the muscle instead of being stored as fat. This is purely theory, but using the principle of GLUT4, would it be possible to make greater strength gains with the pelvic floor if kegeling enough to activate GLUT4 directly before and after eating?

Well that's a theory too isn't it? Just kegal when you can! Yarr! ( yes it's Pirate day)
The world's still a toy if you just stay a boy!

Possible, but highly unlikely. Just standing without moving, your leg muscles are going to be burning way more energy than your PC muscle while doing kegals.

This theory is commonly used by athletes and has been for some time . However they use large muscle groups and burn large amounts of stored energy, which is what triggers the effect.
