  • Protein and PE?

I'm just interested to know if anyone has ever researched the use of protein shakes in conjunction with PE?

As we know, protein is used heavily in body building in helping to repair and strengthen the muscles. I know the penis isn't the same as our muscles, but I wondered if there were any benefits in using protein to aid recovery and growth?

Great question, Reet. There haven't been any studies done that I know of. That said, I've read some reports from men using them (generally with their gym workouts), and it having a positive boost to their gains.

It couldn't hurt, especially considering the penis is not only 50 percent smooth muscle, but a large part of the inner penis is cover by skeletal muscles (the BC, IC and PC muscles).

      Thanks Remek

I have yet a further interesting one for everyone then. I've been talking with one of my old gym supplement suppliers as I am recovering at the moment from a shoulder dislocation. I asked them if they could recommend a product that would aid my recovery. This also got me thinking that such products could also aid my PE recovery.

They told me that their recovery products would be better than simply protein on it's own and provided me with a link to a lot of products.

I had a look through and it is interesting! Have a look at this one for example.

      Scivation Xtend

      It appearently does the following:

      - Speed Recovery.
      - Enhance ATP production and promote cell volumization.
      - Decrease muscle breakdown and cortisol levels.
      - Avoid fatigue by blocking entry of fatigue-inducing tryptophan into the brain.
      - Increase protein synthesis, immune function and digestive health.
      - Promote vasodilation which can lead to better assimilation and absorption of protein.
      - Elevate growth hormone levels.

The last two points here are VERY interesting! Vasodilation is obviously something that is good for PE as it means better flowing blood into the penis, plus obviously it helps as it says with absorbing the protein.

Elevating growth hormone levels also is another interesting point and I wonder if this would aid PE. My thoughts are that it would.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying products such as these should be used or need to be used even. However I do think that with a decent PE routine AND products such as these, in theory (and I must stress this is just theory at the moment), it really could aid in recovery and growth.

I'm going to buy one of these products and test this theory to see if it helps with my growth

      Any thoughts of my theory?

            Hey ReetB,
I've been Using Protein Supplements since I first started as I also work the rest of my body so I have no base control to know if its actually helped me or not. But while thinking about it, I convinced myself that there is NO WAY it could have hurt. My body's protein synthesis is Relative to all body parts is it not?

Thanks Lazy8, for posting BigAl's link. I did not know this was available.

I consume 1 if not 2 whey protein shakes on a daily basis, and have been doing that long before I started PE. I can't comment on whether or not they aid in recovery from PE sessions, but have worked wonders after my gym workouts, I work out pretty hard and am never usually sore the next day. Like the hammer said there's no way it hurts.

Besides that men, Be honest here. What good is it having a Beautiful, Long ,Thick veined Rod hanging Proudly between your legs , if its overshadowed by a large flabby beer gut? I bet ya the gals would choose the average muscle on the toned torso 90%+ of the time. Everyone should get their body's protein synthesis tuned and keep the fat index down. Its not only healthy, its Profitable!!

The price of milk is going down in the USA, at least in California so im wondering if the price of whey will go down as well??? If so i would use whey more often.

True, even though it's not skeletal muscle, the tunica, smooth muscle, collagen etc are made of amino acids/proteins.

But increased protein intake would only be effective if penis enlargement worked by breaking these fibres, then rebuilding them larger/stronger/in a higher quantity with the help of the increased protein right? Im not sure if PE works this way,

Many guys on here lift, so they would be consuming a lot of protein anyway, right?

Not disagreeing with you, just adding a perspective. Anyone else got anything to add?

Just so you guy's know, eating some actual meat such as a steak or pork-chops, or having eggs, is a much more healthy source of protein than a simple protein shake, which is heavily lacking in micro nutrients and isn't near as satisfying. Even if working out constantly you have no need to add protein shakes unless you need them to meet your calorie/protein goals. I stopped drinking whey shakes a few months back and replaced it with real food, and am glad I did.

Amen Dr Pepper, nothing can replace whole food in that sense, just easier straight after the gym to down a protein shake than eat a steak. About an hour after i finish lifting i have something whole; rice, pulsars, meat. Whatever i can find/cook.

This is based on the idea that you need massive protein intake. This idea has come from people selling protein shakes.
