  • Is CS Erectile Tissue?

I've been looking at some scientific diagrams of the penis. I've noticed that several of them refer to the CS as non-erectile tissue.

    Is that accurate?

If so, why target the CS with OK grip jelqs?

    Am I misunderstanding something?

Any insight would be much appreciated.

It is and is not. The corpus spongiosum does fill with blood during erection level but is mainly to protect the urethra during sex along with the urethra itself expanding to accommodate ejaculation because the sperm cells are thicker than urine.

It is still good to work the CS, Gains in the CS can increase girth significantly.
Going an inch and 1/2 deeper than before

Definitely I do work on it because it adds depth for a more rounder penis.

It is not officially erectile tissue and our penis is 100% functional without the inflation of the CS. It is rather nice to have it, though

Unlike your CC's, a large CS is very visible to the eye. While it really doesn't add hardness to your erection, visually it adds a lot.
