  • Aloe Vera, collagen, silica..

    Hey everyone...
I have been doing some studying to see if I can eat anything to help aid PE like with recovery and stuff, down to the healing stages.

I've been reading about Aloe Vera, horsetail herb, and Gotu kola.
Namely because Aloe Vera and Gotu Kola are said to increase collagen production, and horsetail herb contains a lot of silica which is needed to build collagen or something like that.

I read somewhere on here, people taking collagen and what not but haven't found the info I'm looking for..

I'm wondering if increasing collagen will be beneficial for our gains or not.

I read something like someone on here takes collagen or something and has become more stretchy.

But searching the web I came across info about aloe vera increasing collagen but it was building it back stronger and harder to break from what I gather.

Does anyone have any experience, info, input, trials, or history with collagen and/or these herbs and plants?

It seems a faster higher production of collagen would be definitely beneficial to our gains but not if the tissue is being built stronger and harder to break.

    Anyone....?

You need to enquire about protein break down the different types of protein associated with Types I, II & III Collagen. One (whey, fish, milk, meat) etc is a source of energy and can be used to rebuild / bulk up muscle group, but will have little or no effect on connective tissue such as cartilage, tendon or liagament. Collagen is a structural protein, more of a rope like fibre and has the glue role in connective tissue and skin. Not a source of energy but if you look at protein source it’s almost 96% pure. Hydrolysed Collagen changes the process of absorption in the body. It is best taken one hour after an evening meal with a good size glass of water. This is because the repairing of the Collagen system is most efficient as we start to rest in the evening and especially during the first 90 minutes of sleep. I just read about Aloe vera increasing fibroblast cell production 6x over normal, and helps build type III collagen.

Lecithin is good for increasing ejaculate amount, but for cell/tissue proliferation you should probably look into growth factors or growth hormone enhancers.
