  • NO Science Behind PE

I did a little reading and consulting with my internist and a few friends who are In med school. As I suspected, there is NO science to back up the legitimacy of these exercises. Just go to the Mayo Clinic's website: it refutes all of this as a giant hoax. The penis is NOT 50-percent smooth muscle--the muscles cited on this website are not even located in the penis!

I am curious to hear what the "experts" in this field have to say in response to the overwhelming rebuke from legitimate medical doctors and scientists. (BTW: the supposed scientific paper submitted to the Lancet or one of the other British journals was NEVER PUBLISHED IN THAT JOURNAL. A 2 year old can submit a paper to the NE Journal of Medicine, but until it is evaluated, peer-reviewed, and published, it is not legit.)

You cite MD's who believe PE is the real deal? Then say where they are in practice, how they can be contacted, and what their area is. Presumably, they will have no problem being contacted...if they are legitate.

Where are you, BugAl? JP? Let's hear what you have to say!

Quite a random attack/rant. A 2 year old can submit to NEJM? I take your point about peer review, editorial decision/actual publication but there is no 2 year old submitting to NEJM. In response to the query for actual evidence, nobody ever really said this was a solid science. That is nowhere here. As to the "rebuke" by medical professionals -they simply state the truth (which you state) - that there is no evidence to support this stuff and, in fact, it does carry risk. Here is my full response to the lack of science:

I am a walking talking breathing example of the fact PE works

don't start an account just to attack our members

your friends in MED school are backing up your beliefs that PE is a hoax?

      well they are just students

and who says the penis is made of 50 percent smooth muscle that's just one example and to give you more of a reality check the amount of smooth muscle and tunica varies from penis to penis

If I was an admin I would boot you right now because of this thread specifically calling out members with a good rep is no bueno in my book and I wanna vote to boot you right now but I have no admin authority

to make things even worse have you even tried PE how can you discredit something you haven't even tried

if threads like this keep popping up I am gonna guarntee that you will get booted off this site

from the way you are talking it seems you have made an account before and are making this one to attack us here at the gym for banning you before kind of a revenge account

there should be a rule that states if the first post you make is a negative one you get kicked immediatley

You may as well get in a few more posts while you can. Because your days are limited around here.

It is one thing to genuinely question the merits of PE. It is another to mockingly address senior members on here ....and call them out . You mention lack of scientific basis behind PE. What is more alarming is your own lack of civility and undeniable ignorance lurking behind that sad and tired bravado.

Fact remains there are countless practitioners of PE that have gained and continue to gain. Hard work and dedication are vital determinants to success . Not sitting there all day thinking about it. We think outside of the box. And the results speak for themselves.

Too much analysis brings paralysis. Maybe that is what you first need to address. PE can help in that regard too.

There is no scientific evidence that PE works and there will continue to be no evidence that PE works because there is very little money to be had in the penis enlargement business. There will never be personal trainers (other than a handful of online personal trainers) who will teach people how to grow bigger weenies. There will never be real life gyms that people go to to exercise their penises. It will always be an underground culture with no accredited research. At least, until our culture gets rid of its sexual stigma (I don't blame our culture for having a sexual stigma, it is understandable and deserved.)

You want proof? Do some PE. If it works for you, there's your proof. If it doesn't, then I guess you are shit out of luck in your mission to have a bigger penis after all.
There has never been an extensive long-term study on the effects of PE. Why?

... because the medical community really doesn't give a shit. No government or company will fund research into a potentially free means to enlarge a penis. There is no profit for the company, and no self-respecting government funded organization would touch the subject when there are perfectly better things to research like, I don't know, cures for cancer?

While we are on the subject, here is a lesson in penis anatomy:

                Medscape: Medscape Access

At the end of the day, how do I know whether PE works or not? I can look down and decide that for myself, thank you very much.

Thread closed. We have seen this subject more than enough.

There's also "Davis' Law- which states:

"Ligaments, or any soft tissue, when put under even a moderate degree of tension, if that tension is unremitting, will elongate by the addition of new material; on the contrary, when ligaments, or rather soft tissues, remain uninterruptedly in a loose or lax state, they will gradually shorten, as the effete material is removed, until they come to maintain the same relation to the bony structures with which they are united that they did before their shortening. Nature never wastes her time and material in maintaining a muscle or ligament at its original length when the distance between their points of origin and insertion is for any considerable time, without interruption, shortened."

Perhaps you should do some more reading and consulting.

Surely from the tone of your post, you didn't come here to learn or to discuss things in an intelligent manner, but to seek attention and to incite emotion. You appear to take the "political" approach to science- as opposed to one that encourages genuine research.

                  Govern yourself accordingly.

Edit- I just saw that this thread was closed.
