Hi, this is my first post and everything but from what i read online i wouldnt use that stuff. Many peopl have reported that it completely killed their sex drive and caused ED and many other problems. Some people report that it works but if i had started having any of the symptoms u described i would stop and ask my doctor or you can look up some of it online.

There's supposed to be laser treatments for that stuff as well. It's a tough call, but you should have some other options, where maybe you can find the best of both worlds. From what I remember, the laser treatment was to stimulate the skin/follicles and increase blood flow to the areas of the scalp where the hair has ceased growing. This is, of course, assuming you want to grow new hair. There's a shampoo/conditioner out that has a lot of great reviews called Segal's Solutions: Hair Loss Prevention - Shampoo to Reduce Oily Hair and Prevent Hair Loss, Natural Treatment for Itchy Scalp I am in no way affiliated with them, but my hairline is quickly receding, so it's something I've considered trying.

I used Propecia for 6 years when my hair started noticeably thinning. My hair loss stopped when I was on.

I've been off for 6 months now. I feel like I have more T then when I was 16. The gains I've made in the gym in the last 6 months rival what I've done in the last 6 years. My EQ has gone up 1-2 points, and I'm hornier. Yes, my hair is thinning again.

What eventually made me go off was deciding I did not want to be on a medicine in which the long term effect had not been studied. Soon I will be bald. But after 6 years, I've come to accept that.

I would advise to take the medicine until you've accepted, really accepted and embraced baldness. Then go off and enjoy the surge of T.

Also, hair replacement surgery is making leaps. As of now you can move hair follicles from the bottom back of your scalp to the top, and in a decade you'll be able to get stem cells that regrow hair (though you may have to fly to Europe because of US laws).

Although there is anecdotal evidence to suggest people getting low sex drive on Saw Palmetto, I havent seen any studies to suggest it does. It certainly shouldnt in theory, as it has a 5 alpha reductase inhibiting action, so technically there should in fact be more serum testosterone as there is less conversion to DHT.

But in reality I have heard some people say the same thing as you. Strange one.

If I get nervous or anxious my penis turtle's (shrinks) markedly. I'm sure its just the bodys physiological response somehow, and nothing to worry about. Focus on techniques to conquer your anxiety and that becomes irrelevant anyway.

Anecdotal evidence, tried Saw Palmetto myself when my PSA numbers grew and found it had an immediate affect on my lido, and eq. Threw that shit out immediately. My problem was an infection, two week regime of potent antibiotics, brought the numbers down. Numerous digital exams showed no hardening or swelling. After the last exam I asked the doctor if we were now engaged.

Saw Palmetto has been shown to block androgen receptors... thus decreasing any of your secondary male sex characteristics... or androgenic activity... this can also include primary sex characterstics as well...

I know SP also can block ER-beta receptors as well.. I don't recall if SP can cross the blood-brain barrier... I know even though Free-Test that's converted via 5a-reduc to DHT is more androgenic... in the brain... the conversion of Test via aromatase to estradiol induced secondary male sex characteristics systemically... it's poorly studied and not well understood in men... in women.. well, the opposite occurs lol

estradiol is the biologically active form of estrogen.

Hey man,

I've got a good idea.

Why don't you use the DHT blocking hair shampoo.

This blocks DHT in the hair follicles but only has a local effect. In other words, it has much less effect on other parts of the body if applied topically to the scalp.

You can also try minoxidil which is rubbed onto the scalp. It increases blood flow, allowing more nutrient to reach the hair follicles.
