I believe there is a technique in edging where you don't ejaculate the semen. What happens to the semen you developed when you are at a point of orgasm? It doesn't seem natural for it to just stay inside of you.

You have a misconception. Semen is the fluid that mixes with the sperm of ejaculation. The less the semen, the more thicker the spew is (due to lack of semen). If you dripping some clear liquid during edging which does happen even when trying to hold it back,
that is okay. That clear liquid is semen with out any or little sperm mixed in which mean you caught it before you let out the mother load. LOL!
Now does the sperm go back. I don't know but you hold it just in time for not much could escape and mix in.Begin 7/25/2011:

I believe this to be correct. The semen (not sperm) gets released in the urine.
