This should probably go on the theory page, but this is my thinking about where much of growth comes from. This is based on what I've read on this site as well as other sources.
1. EQ: This is pretty much how pills and creams work(when they actually work)
-for the average man, he can gain 1/8 - 3/4 in. from this unless he has naturally high EQ (like me.)
2. Ligament stretching: I suspect this is what's really happening with hanging and ADS. The experimental results are usually measured in FSL gains. My personal belief/opinion is that the average man can gain .25-1.50 in of FSL from this (not necessarily BPEL)
3. hypertrophy: cell expansion . I believe this is how much of girth gains are achieved. These gains are slow, if achieved at all. I suspect this is more of a 1/8-3/4 in. over a period of several years if at all.
4 . hyperplasia: cell division. I'm honestly not sure if this actually happens, but if so, I suspect the gains to be similar to hypertrophy and take just as long if not longer
