  • TGC Theory vs. Length Before Girth

    So, was looking into the TGC Theory yesterday. Based on the fact that my bpfsl is more than than the 0.5 inch cutoff more than my bpel, it would appear that my smooth muscle would be the limiting factor. The TGC theory suggests that I do 60% girth work. However, I have always heard that "length before girth" is the way to go, and, really, I don't care too much about girth at the moment. I do think I'll add in more girth exercises into my routine, but, I feel like spending 60% of PE time on girth may be excessive, and I really don't want to hinder my length gains. What are your thoughts?
    Start (Dec 2014)
    bpel: 7.0"

    July 9 2015:
    bpel: 7.4375"
    bpfsl: 8.00"

    Mar 27 2016:
    bpfsl: 8 and 3/8"
    bpel: 7 and 11/16"

    January 2017 (after a 10 month break):
    bpfsl: 8.00"

    My routine is about 50/50 in terms of length vs girth, and most of my results have been length. It seems like for many, girth is the hardest to get. I don't want to change up a routine too much that is getting me results, so I'll stick with it for the time being. If it starts to get too disproportionate, I'll worry about it then. I should note, that I am on round 2 of PE after a long break.

    The first round of PE netted me 1" in length, and 0.5" in girth. Funny thing was, I started getting length gains then without getting girth, then the girth came in steady after I'd been PEing a bit. I've never been sure why, I thought it was a beginner thing maybe. This time around, I'm noticing length gains already but nothing at all for girth, I'm hoping it comes in soon, as I feel girth is my real weak point. As I said, though, I don't want to stop doing what I'm doing because it is still getting me closer to my goal.
    Starting (20 JUL 2012)
    BPFSL: 7.5"
    BPEL: 6.75"
    EG: 4.75"
    Current (8/3/17)
    BPFSL: 8.7"
    BPEL: 8.1"
    MEG: 5.5"
    BEG: 5.5"

    Short Term Goal:
    8.25 BPEL
    5.75 MEG

      Just stick with going by your PIs. If your EQ is good, continue with your length routine, If it has dropped, back off a little and maybe focus on light jelqing a little more.

        Ok thanks! And Cavalier, my EQ is interesting right now. Since I'm living alone (but will only be doing so for another couple weeks), I'm doing A LOT of PE. Usually multiple hours of hanging a day, so that sort of messes up my EQ. Right now, I'm pretty much trying to stretch it as much as possible, since my EQ is back to normal with 8 hours or so of not PEing, I'm really not too worried about it.

          That is interesting. I've never had a drop in EQ from PE, except for the obligatory refractory period if I allow myself to cum at the end. But then again, I don't hang, so I'm not 100% sure as to whether or not your temporary loss is a bad PI or not.

            Imo or what I believe...Is that girth second is probably good for length gains, but it might make girth gains harder afterwards.

            Girth work can also be a great way to boost EQ and loosen up the ligaments for length for gains.
            Starting stats:
            01.08.2013: BPEL 6,3 x 4,3 MSEG
            22.06.2015: BPEL 7.6 x 5.30 MSEG(not cemented)
            After a long break:
            01.05.2016: BPEL 7.3 x 5.1 MSEG
            16.11.2018: BPEL 7.3 x 5.0-5.1 MSEG BSEG 5.3

              If your EQ is great then you can focus solely on length. If it isn't great then some girth work or stamina work is necessary.

                Is it wrong to do both at the same time ?
                30/03/2015 => 6.3 inches Bpel
                4.7 inches girth at the base, and 4.9 at max

                22/10/2015 =>
                NBPEL : 6.1 inches
                6,9 inches Bpel ( +0,6)
                4.9 inches at the base, 5.2 at max (+ 0,3)

                First goal : 7.1 x 5.3

                  Hopica, i have heard that doing a lot of girth work will slow down length gains. Yes, with a lot of hanging, I find that my eq drops temporarily, but is back to normal pretty quickly. At most, it drops to an 8.5, so it really isn't bad. Regarding pis, I have been gaining consistently, despite experiencing that, so, Im not really sure what to think of that. Lately, I have started adding some more girth work though.

                    Well at the moment my EQ is rock hard and I'm gaining both girth/lenght, so I will continue like this ^^
                    30/03/2015 => 6.3 inches Bpel
                    4.7 inches girth at the base, and 4.9 at max
