I just recently got my first extender (ProExtender from Ebay). I've been using it for 2 days and it's already broken.

The problem is that when you insert the first side you are pushing down on the base at an angle and the lateral force is too much for this thin piece of plastic and the round metal piece pops out. Like this...

Looking at pictures of even the more expensive units (X4, PeniMaster, etc.), they all seem to have very thin material at this point. Is this an issue with all extenders or do they use stronger material that prevents this? I don't want to spend $100's only to run into this problem again.
