Are all canning tongs the same size???

I looked everywhere for the canning tongs no one is selling at their store . Are all canning tongs the same size??? I don't know if there are large ones or small ones. If there is would it matter if it is large or small for gains??? Does it matter what kind of brand or style ??? One more question can a newbie use the home made jelq device for his newbie workouts???

They are smaller diameter in the prongs, so they will flex from the hinge outward. If your new to PE, my advice is NOT to use any device's until a few months of dedicated manual exercises are completed.

Here's a funny story. I decided to buy Canning Tongs and give the Home Device thing a shot.

Well... I couldn't find the tongs anywhere!!! I looked at Target, Kmart, Home Debut and a local hardware store. I asked for help trying to find them at each store. All the employees were stumped. One old lady told about how she used to make jelly back in the day and used the tongs to close the jars! hahaha.

I kept laughing myself because this innocent old lady was going down memory lane and here I was, trying to buy these tongs so I can grow a 3rd leg!!! hahaha.

Anyway, where else should I look?

Look here, they are called jar lifters. FYI

The rollers are the key, jar lifters have hard plastic rollers. You could buy casting silicone and mold your own rollers.

E-Bay is also a great place to look for cheap stuff. Shipping is really cheap there too. I highly suggest that if you're going down the home-made route, get some form of padding, the stuff Betterman posted looks like it would be good, but the rollers are so helpful when you are using the device.

www.Amazon.com is a really good place to find homemade jelq devices different tongs . Guess what I found the same exact one has Gator's in there. I am giong to buy that one really soon. Hopes that helps anyone. I got the'' ETP'' book in one day I was amazed by the fast delivery.
