  • How Long To Take Clamp Off For Between Sets?

    Hi,

As the title says, when clamping, what is the most optimal time that I should take the clamp off for in between sets to encourage enough healthy blood flow, but not long enough to significantly reduce the expansion I have achieved from having the clamp on. Or should I not be worried about this issue at all?

    Thanks

I wouldn't worry about it regarding impacting gains. I would be more worried about allowing enough time to pass to prevent risk of injury and restore healthy blood flow to burrito. 5 minutes would probably be enough time, I would edge during the break in between and do erect kegels. When reapplying the clamp and going into the next session, I would pay close attention to any signs of pain or discomfort and stop immediately if any of that is experienced and call it a day. Hope this helps.

IMO clamping is an advanced PE exercise and I didn't even consider trying it until I had 2 years of training under my belt. Of course I am deliberately cautious!
I practice what I preach, and anytime you start cutting off the circulation to your penis you are risking injury. Which is why I do not, and will not use or make a compression clamp for weight hanging.

However if you have considerable PE experience and have made good gains with traditional training, and would like to increase your girth and penile vascularity then clamping can be implemented. I personally never go beyond 5 minutes. I will do three 5 minute sets, and in between the sets you can jelq or pump. If you pump, you don't need to do much more than a 10 minute pump between clamp sets. You should be able to stay at least 75% erect while doing this type of PE workout.
If your erection quality suffers the following few days after such training then you have over trained and need to back off and start with one set.

I agree with Ultimate Burrito and Marlon in this case.

I have use clamps in the past and my routine was similar.

I would do some jelqs and kegals while taking a 5-minute break in between sets.
