Tips/hacks for bar-based traction devices

Hello hello...

So i have an X4 (please hold your criticisms of particular brands for a different thread), and i am looking for some tips/hacks anyone out there has discovered.

I have a few of my own: using small metric nuts as 1/4" spacers, using alligator clips to keep the strap tight, and having a suspension system to keep the device from falling down and pressing uncomfortably on the undercarriage.

I cannot wear this thing under my clothes at all, so the whole thing kinda looks like a radio tower.

my biggest issues are strap breakage and comfort. the foam has all but disintegrated, so i am using the scraps... which are gross.

Also, my head has a little bit of an issue staying put: it gradually slips down, but not out. does anyone else have this issue? my glans' size is commensurate with the shaft of my penis, so i don't have the ideal "mushroom shape that would help keep it in there.

I had used part of an Infants Sock, where I cut off the section at the ankle, and used it as a wrap (instead of the foam) around the shaft. Elastic, and washable, very economical.

Best time for application is right out of the shower, no dirt, oil, sweat, which would slip right out of the plastic securing wrap. With these 2nd generation models, I used a black metal clip, like those found to secure court documents, to the back of the wrap, so it doesn't slip out no matter how much tension you have.
But still the problem is, your glands will be taking a beating from all the pressure, so just mitigate it with frequent breaks.

A piece of silicone sleeve can work well in situations like this.

Dangler, the sock idea solved the last headache I had with the extender. Good bye cotton gauzes, hello little bootie socks! Perect wrap for my burrito

Might be surface skin is irritated from it getting stretched; you can try powder, or repositioninf of skin and extender base.

so i tried the sock, and it worked for about 3 minutes, and then i popped out.

uhh... burning? yeah sounds like you are stretching too much... you gotta watch. if you are having pain, you are doing it wrong. stretch til you feel a tug... not ripping your cock off. 😁

well... one of the worst things about the traction devices is that they are uncomfortable to wear while moving around.

you might try wearing some sort of cushion or support under the base.
