  • Water in LG for gland protection?

Will this work? Or how can I safely test? What hg to pump to if I am only using water. Also is the hg measures before weight or after weight us applied. I know the pulling creates extra vacuum. At least for me it does.

I used vh3 years ago with water and no wrap.

I just cannot get a consistent gland wrap with neither the blue tape or 3m micro tape. Water always worked the best with the vh3, but the LG is far superior equipment.

Bad idea, moisture and prolonged friction causes blisters. You can use lube for pretty much anything but with hanging you want to keep the areas of your penis where friction is applied pretty dry.

If you're uncircumcised, try to only wrap your glans and frenulum with 3m micropore tape. I've regularly hung 12 lbs for a few months using this method, and I haven't had a single blister.

Don't use water! You will ruin your hand pump. We provide three different glans wrap methods. Keep in mind that the glans protection wrap is primarily used to keep your penis skin from getting sucked up into the vacuum port hole in the chamber. While it does provide a measure of blister protection, it's skin conditioning over time that helps prevent a blister. Conditioning is a gradual process, slowly adding weight and time to your hang session.

Wrapping is very easy... if you follow the instructions. You can email us with a short video of how you wrap and I will take a look and make suggestions.

Water will do nothing for you. When you pump up the hanger you are drawing the air out of the chamber. If you put water in there you will just end up drawing it out.

Is 3M Micropore even that big of a deal to apply and remove on a daily basis? I've been hanging unprotected as a result of reading about some guy on here hanging 11 pounds untaped with my same hanger. For me I couldn't make it past 8.25 lbs until I start feeling the tinge (stopped of course but still blistered). I didn't want to go sticking this stuff all over my finally healed glands just to blister again or not be able to take it off cleanly. I kind of like King Snake's custom wrapping method, that's exactly where I'm sensing the tingle and it would help if it could be removed easily.

Edit: Read someone saying 3M Micropore caused bleeding on the glands during removal nevermind, I'll learn to use tender.

That 3M microfoam tape is so soft and easy to remove! The adhesive is very mild and will not pull skin. The only person who I've heard that had any issues with removing tape and bleeding was a guy who thought he had a blister, but as it turned out it was a herpes sore.

Haha, sounds brutal. I've read good things about the microfoam, guess I'll start with that since it's easy to obtain.

I pre-cum a lot so the micro foam slips a lot. The blue tape Marlon sells works the best......just didn't want to spend that much. Lol.

I used to hang 10lbs with my vh3 with water only. Oh well.

Going to target 2 one hour hang sessions per day.

You can just use water to remove the 3m micropore tape. It's not difficult at all or dangerous.

Ok guys I’m going to try clear up what looks like some confusion here.

You guys are talking about 2 different kinds of tapes both are 3m product.

3m microfoam tape is pretty much draft seal, it doesn’t stick well and is very thick. The cost per roll is quite high.

3m micropore tape is very thin and sort of a cross betweeen paper and plaster. This stuff sticks very good to dry surfaces and once attached it can get wet and still be very effective. It it’s cheap to buy per roll and goes along distance.

I found if you are having trouble removing the micropore tape use some saliva and let it soak before removing.

I hang 20lbs with the micropore tape and bet it could handle a lot more. I’m uncut as well, my trick is to retract my foreskin for 20-30mins beforehand and let it air/ dry in my underwear before applying the tape.

Looks like confusion over tape seems to be a common theme. I basically read plenty of positive things before Marlon recommended the 3M Microfoam and the tape worked perfect. I can snip off strips as needed and fill in any exposed areas with corner-like squares. I just hung 3 sets: (8, 8.5, and 9) lbs with not ONE tingle, after not hanging since May. I'm going to be sticking with this tape (no pun intended) since I'm thrilled to not have to start back in the baby weights. Just wanted to add I always do 20 minute warm-up with no weight on the pin, helps me choose what vacuum level I'll be maintaining in the dome and once that's hit I just leave it alone for all weight and the hanger never slips anymore.

Bottom line on glans protecttion wrap..... there's no right or wrong way to protect you glans. Use whatever works best for you. I've tried a variety of tapes and wraps and based on personal experience along with a ton of feed back from other LG Hanger users we've narrowed it down to three methods in order to offer variety and at the same time keep things as user friendly and as un-complicated as possible.

Makes sense, I just past 10 pounds last night. Backing down a bit incase of blister but the tape was my missing piece.
