So I've been reading through the forums on this pump and think I might be settling on getting it from Leluv's website. Question is... what's the difference between the Maxi and the Ultima? And also, is there a real difference in the "premium" hose?

The Ultima has a metal pump handle similar to the Harbor Freight brake bleeder pump.
Not familiar with the premium hose, but don’t see a need to upgrade hose quality unless the cost differential in minimal.Valued Member of 12+ years at the PEGym12/'09 (start) NBP EL - 4.5, EG - 4.4

ThanksOriginally posted by goodvibes View PostI just asked the same question a few weeks ago. From what I read on their website the Ultima is has an aluminium pump head and the Maxi is brass. Not really sure if that makes a difference, but I ended up buying the MaxiStart: 1/1/19

In either case, make sure you add a vacuum gauge to the pump.Valued Member of 12+ years at the PEGym12/'09 (start) NBP EL - 4.5, EG - 4.4

Yes I did! Read up everywhere. Also added the silicone sleeve as some say they don't need it, others say they do. Better safe than sorry.Start: 1/1/19
