I didn't want to keep going back and forth between different products, so I just went ahead and pulled the trigger and bought a Leluv pump (w a gauge). I'm still doing my JP90 program, so won't be incorporating the pump yet since most say it's better to fully condition the penis. My question is this... would it hurt to throw 1 day a week in there at a really low hg pressure just to get use to it? Or should I just completely wait until the 90 days is up?

I see no harm in a little pumping (under 4 hg and ten minutes) once or even twice a week.Valued Member of 12+ years at the PEGym12/'09 (start) NBP EL - 4.5, EG - 4.4

Great. I asked because when I got it today, I went ahead and just tried it out. It's my first time ever using a pump, so I just was trying to see how it worked, how it felt. I only went up to like 3/4 hg. But also noticed it didn't seem to hold the pressure. I didn't use the sleeve, so maybe that's why. Could be a lot of reasons! Just want to get familiar with it and really know how to work it well by the time I really start using it fully as a programOriginally posted by not2big View PostI see no harm in a little pumping (under 4 hg and ten minutes) once or even twice a week.Start: 1/1/19

+1 for what Richardwad said. Also, I had to put more Plumber's Tape on the threads of the pressure gauge to get my pump to hold pressure. You can put the cylinder up to any part of your body that will work (stomach, leg, etc) to test it out if you're concerned about overworking your penis. I started using a pump 1 month after beginning PE. I just reduced the number of jelqs a lot and increased pump intensity and jelqs little by little over time. 2 days on 1 day off was my routine.
Pay close attention to how it feels and looks while in the cylinder. If it feels like too much of a stretch, then release some pressure and go back up to less than what it was before. If you feel any pain whatsoever, stop and evaluate. As always, listen to your PIs.Last edited by tank0909; 01-18-2019, 07:39 AM.

Thanks. Yeah, I put it up to my stomach to test the seal and it definitively holds there. When you say you use lube to get a better seal, what do you mean? You lube the bottom of the tube?Start: 1/1/19

Correct. I lube as far inside the tube that my fingers will go, then the bottom of the tube where it touches my body (basically just swirling the bottom of the tube on my palm), and then my penis. I prefer using a decent amount. Play around with it and see what works best for you.

Thanks. Does it matter what kind of lube? Also, do you just wash it out after each use?Start: 1/1/19

Water based is easier to wash, but needs to be reapplied once in a while. Silicone lube works well too and lasts longer. You can use a foaming sex toy cleaner and a bottle brush to clean the cylinder. Sometimes I just use foaming antibacterial hand soap. 3 - 4 squirts on the inside and 2 - 3 on the outside. (I hold the tube with my lubed hand and keep the other hand dry/clean so I only really have to wash the cylinder, not the pump)Originally posted by 527Just84 View PostThanks. That's just lotion right? That's interesting that it helps create a seal. I'd think it would do the oppositeOriginally posted by not2big View PostI use Walmart’s Equate Cocoa Devine. About $4 for 15 oz.Start: 1/1/19

*Update - So I pumped and used my body oil gel (which is like a mixture of vaseline, cocoa butter, and baby oil. I use this instead of lotion after i take showers for my skin).
All I can stay is that it helped create a perfect seal and I pumped to 4hg and held for 10 minutes. Was much more encouraged this time as the pressure pretty much held the entire time! I used 2 hair scrunchies to wrap around my sac to keep the boys from getting sucked near.
Again, not going to be doing a full pumping routine until I finish my beginners routine. But man, I can't wait to fully get started using this pump! Super excited because I think I'll see some gains from consistent use and manual stretching/girth routines as well.Start: 1/1/19
