  • My Experience with RestoreX and Jelqing

    Starting March 20, I am adding RestoreX to my daily routines. While Jelqing has been great for some gain and a huge increase in circulation, I want to correct a gradual curve to the right.
    Only on my third day but looking forward to some positive changes to my curvature. This will be the first time using a device so a little nervous I don't hurt myself.

    Starting slow and easy and will gradually increase tension to the recommended levels.


    The device maker supplies an elastic wrap for the head of the penis to be clamped with. Works OK but PAINFUL to unwrap.
    So I will be trying a few alternatives. Not sure if I will photo my progress, or where best to put it here on the forum.
    Anyway... On we go.

    Starting up on week two with a device. It was uncomfortable getting to the third click, then got there and now just getting to the fourth click, which is the maximum correction. It’s been a challenge getting the wrap just right around the gland so it doesn’t slip out of the locking portion, but I’m starting to get the hang of it. Will post some pictures for follow up in my album in the next day or two.

      Do everything slowly and progressively and always take 2 rest days/week.

          Into my 6th week now. Noticing a slight improvement. (see MY Curvature Progress pics)
          Also starting back up on Jelqing. (2X 30 minutes/day)

          Takes some time but I think really worth it. Like seeing others here doing well so good motivation for me.

            How are things? I’ve been considering this. I don’t have PD.

              Well after 3 months of trying, I see ZERO difference in the bend... Looks like a FAIL so far.
              Bummer as I had high hopes for the device. Going to call the maker this week and see if they have any suggestions.
              So:
              No change on bend and no change on length. (Not that I was going for that-But they do advertise most folks see a small length gain)

              Anybody have similar experiences??

                Have you always had the curvature or did this develop due to some trauma or age?

                  Had this as far back as early 20's I know of for sure.... No trauma or anything like that. Excessive hornyness as a teen maybe trained it that way??

                    The problem with many of these studies that show improvement in curvature, including peer reviewed articles, is that they look only at people with Peyronie's. As far as I know, there are no scientific studies focused on traction therapy for congenital curvature - the type of curvature you seem to have. The effectiveness of traction against different types of curvature may, indeed, differ.

                    It may be beneficial to include manual stretching against the curve in your routine. Then, of course, there is also the question how long have you been using the device in terms of hours per day and applied tension. You may have done too much or too little - hard to say. If I were you, I would take a deconditioning brake for a few weeks and try again. Hopefully some experienced members can chime in on this.
                    Initial measurements (August 2021): 6.3 NBPEL, 5.9 EG, 30° left-pointed curvature
                    Long-term goal: 7.5 NBPEL, 6.3 EG, 15° left-pointed curvature (or less)

                      The device you're using just doesn't generate enough traction to help eliminate or diminish a congenital curve. Plus three months of PE training isn't sufficient to make any change in the curve you have. You have to weaken the structure by bending the opposite way. While doing that you continue to work on erection quality as you progressively weaken the curve. I had a similar curve going the opposite direction, left and up like a banana. Took me 2 1/2 to make the correction.
                      I would recommend weight hanging with a quality vacuum hanger and doing Fulcrum and Bundle hangs after a few months of traditional SD hang work.

                          Quick update here... Like many of us, I fell out of my Jelqing routine and I really don't know why...
                          Starting back up today! going 5 days on and 2 days off. (Except for stretching)
                          This could take the form of 1 day on, 1 day off or 2 days on and 1 off ect....

                          Upping my device time as well. (RestoreX)
                          2 hours bend and 4-5 hours straight lengthening. Also 5 days on and 2 days off.

                          EQ better overall so I will take that! Hoping for adding some length, and lessening the curve.
