    i'm currently on a little under 5hg, at 12min x 3.
i have tried 3hg, and it doesn't feel like i am doing any work i read somewhere about thick silicon sheaths, do these aid much at all?
I have never used any silicone sheaths. I am not sure how long you have been pumping but if it has not been that long then you can get the donut at even 5 hg if you are doing too many sets. I would sugest even less sets. Find out where you start to get a donut, for example if you start to get some edema at the second sets end then you know your limit for the time being. Once you find out where you start to donut then you can just stay there untill you become conditioned. Many people try to get too much time done too fast. pumping is definately something that you MUST work up too. I think I was over a month, maybe even farther along before I was near 3 sets.
I do know that JonPop likes the silicone rings that go on the bottom of the cylinder but this sounds like something different, you said sheath so I am visioning something that goes around your shaft. The shaft sheath would sort of defeat the purpose to a certain degree, unless of course you are targeting length and only length. I think you should condition to plain old pumping. If it is indeed the ring you are talking about I would say its got to be good if JonPop likes them. Hope I have helped, if I am misunderstanding you let me know.

Check out the "traction pumping" thread in the Devices Forum. I would add a link, but I do not know how to do that yet with my new I-pad.

jesus, getting all technical 'round here!! cheers for the info folks.
big, it was certainly the case of over working. i've dropped the 1st rep to 3.5hg and the next two to 4 at 11min. looks like it's boarder-line fluid buildup but manages to avoid it.

out of curiosity, does everyone pump from a complete flaccid state or mix it up from time to time? recently i pumped from 80% or so and managed to ad close to half an inch in the chamber. i didn't keep it in that state for too long as i was hitting 5hg. 5min without and fluid build up either. thinking about incorporating this into my sets..
          just get it
