  • Confused about pumping

    Hello. I bought a bathmate last week and read a few how-to-posts (I admit it wasn't much). Then I headed to the shower and began doing what I thought was right. Would fill it with hot water, place it to my body and what I thought was right for a beginner was.... a 5 minute session and pumping every 10 seconds... after my recent session though I was feeling that my penis was looking kinda exhausted so I double checked with my friend and to my big suprise he told me that I was doing it extremely wrong. So apparently you'd place the pump to your body and pump once or twice ONLY until you have a good vacuum and then you let it stay like that for a few minutes? Is this the right way to go on about it? In my last session, I did about 15 pumps, I don't know how my thing didn't explode.

    Would really love to hear about the 100% right way to use the bathmate and how I should be scaling it up with time. So far I've been advised for a 5 minute session, but still one question remains unanswered - how many pumps should I do during that 5m session and during what interval? Thanks in advance and to the guys reading that are thinking about buying a pump - don't repeat my mistake and learn how to properly use it before putting it on you.

    You may need to repump- but it should be done only as needed. It should also be an infrequent thing if your pump is holding pressure as it should.

      Forgot to ask... how often should I be pumping in the week? I kinda enjoy it tbh, is it daily?

        I use my Bathmate daily as a maintenance device. Usually 10 minutes while I shower. Like I mentioned in my PM reply, I can't say if any one thing contributed more to my girth gains since I use a variety of devices and exercises. I always suggest not to rely on any one particular device or exercise to make PE gains. Although my foundation for optimal PE gains is like a three legged stool that consists of traditional hand stretches, weight hanging and pumping. I could go into much more detail with how I integrated those together in order to provide a synergistic blend to achieve my full PE potential, but that would take several pages. Bottom line ... invest in quality equipment when filling your PE toolbox. Lots of cheap Chinese stuff out there! It's all like a rocking chair, it will give you something to do, but you won't get anywhere.

            You shouldn't have any problems with the Bathmate, It's one of only a few devices I endorse. The other device uses a strap / noose type attachment, which I don't particularly care for. The manufacturer suggest you can achieve length results in as little as two weeks.... in your dreams!

              In the beginning stages of pumping you should not be pumping to high pressure.

              Bathmate is hard to gauge so I would recommend a few pumps until you are elongated close to your erect length and no more, pump as required to maintain that pressure which should only be 2 or 3 more pumps during your session.

              Start with 5 minutes for a week every other day, go to ten minutes the next week and then add time per session or go to 2 on one off with your exercise days..

              Pumping is very intuitive and after a few weeks (3-4) you will start k owing how you react better. Then you can start to do what feels right.

                I do one or two five minute sessions in the shower (sometimes one wet in the shower, and one dry just after the shower while I am getting ready in the bathroom after drying off), a few times a week to maintain my size. I am not able to be dedicated enough right now to do this every day to try and increase gains. I will do another (third) dry pump during foreplay the days we are having sex. I always have a five minute rest period between pumping sessions where I jelq or stretch or edge using a Fleshlight with bath mount. I never pump longer than a five minute session, and never more than three pumping sessions per day. The hand pump on the Xtreme version is worth the extra cost IMO. Makes the pumping much easier and much more comfortable.

No rest days? I quite enjoy doing it so wouldn't mind doing it everyday as long as that's how it should be done.


                  Also, what's your opinion on the erection size that you need to get to use the bathmate? some people go fully flaccid, some fully erect. does it even matter?

                    No sir, I said every other day. Too much in the beginning stages will leave your tube snake exhausted and could adversely effect your erection quality.

                    I'd go every other day for a few weeks to a month then increase frequency as you adjust to the routine.
