just wondering, do you really need to pay for a hanger? does anyone have a homemade one. i was thinking of putting on a sock then maybe extra padding about and inch below the glans and slipknotting a shoelace and haning with that, good idea???? im just very much a do it yourself guy (and cheap) and wouldnt love paying for a hanger. also how long do you hang for? do you do it for reps?

I've been using a Captains wench for weeks. I have been using 10 lbs with little effort. I know I can hang with more weight but...the problem with the wench is that the skin underside below my glans fills with fluid and leaves me with a fluid sac that subsides in a few hours. I hate when it happens but the wench causes a blood bulge (by design) which keeps it from slipping off. The glans gets engorged as hell (like a Uli). I get a good hang (2 sets of 10-12 minutes with 10 minutes rest in between). I just don't like the fluid sac which happens often. I use the proper wrap with thera-band over top. The cable clamp is tightened as much as possible too, this causes bruising and discoloration where the grippers make contact. The wifey doesn't like the color much either, taking time off from hanging until It pinkens back up.
I think I'm going to order a Bib starter because I like hanging, just looking for something more comfortable.

If you are really serious about hanging, give up some cash and buy a Bib hanger. The closer you can tie it off towards the glans, the more penis you'll be able to stretch. Remember that there's bound do be some slippage, so you'll probably want to experiment with padding and positioning to determine what set up gives you the best stretch.Want a FREE Month of Coaching? I just made a homemade AFB hanger. I saw some pics of an AFB using dowels and string.
I made mine with (2) 1/2" dowels about 4 1/2" inches long. 1/4" in from each end I drilled a hole and inserted a small screw so that it was a tight fit to hold the screw in place. I use a wing nut at the top hole to adjust the hanger after it is placed on my shaft.
The center of the dowel is carved out a bit (used a bench grinder) to accept my penis and keep it centered. The top and bottom screw holds the webbing to which I have attached a chain link and I keep that in place with a wire tie. This is where I attach the webbing with the weights.
I've used it twice and like the feel. I can really pull hard without slippage. I think it beats the wench I have hands down. It takes a little getting used to because it can get uncomfortable if not adjusted right. I use it over some t-shift wrapping.
